Everything about this restaurant is amazing. Beautiful set up, very nice atmosphere inside and wonderful decorations. Service was great, our server was on top of it, super friendly, very kind. The manager came by to check on every table. Sangria was delicious. Would definitely recommend the zucchini fries. They have a Monday special which is half price all pizzas which is amazing because their pizza is so delicious and wood oven baked. One of the best pizzas in the area. Parking is not convenient. There is construction on the street currently so no street parking available. Closest parking lot is a 3 min walk or next best thing is the parking garage on the opposite corner. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a celebration or just a nice date night.

Ate dinner here for the first time on a Thursday evening. Expected better. We ordered a beer, one of the cocktails on the menu and a glass of wine along with 2 small plates. We waited awhile, expecting our drinks to arrive, but still no drinks. Our small plates came out but still no drinks! So waited a bit more but decided to start eating. Then finally our drinks arrived, no explanation nor apologies for the delay. Never been to a restaurant where this happened. Wife said people highly recommend the ricotta+honeycomb, it was rather plain. I ordered the short rib gnocchi. Was a bit surprised when it came out. You only get maybe 8 gnocchis. The rib meat is very good but the gnocchi was overcooked and mushy. I’ve had gnocchi plenty of times but this was by far the worst. Would not recommend this one. There are plenty of better Italian restaurants in and around Naperville IMHO and we all agreed that GIA MIA was a bit disappointing.

We have always enjoyed visiting the other restaurants owned by this group, but we just had our first visit to this Naperville GIA MIA. We chose 2 small plates, a salad, and the four of us all had entrees and we finished with desert. Every step of the way the flavors were terrific. The drinks were also pleasing. Our only call out would be the hostess seemed to know people at a few tables on our Saturday evening visit, and she spent a bit too much time concentrating on them, so much I was a bit worried at the start as I had to wait for her to move on in order to take my seat. But that one small blemish did not ruin the evening once the food started to make it's way to our table. We will be back, hopefully the staff understands the importance of customer first.

We come here almost every Friday with our 3 year old and always have the best experiences! The cocktails are beautiful and delicious, the food is high quality and well priced, and the service is always outstanding. We just had Judith for the first time and cannot say enough about her! But really, you can’t go wrong with anyone. Definitely make a reservation, but if you’re in Naperville you need to go here!
