The hostess staff appears to be overstaffed and the wait staff clearly understaffed. The server did her best ands was very sweet. The food took forever and somehow managed to be cold when it was served. One chicken dish was dry and overcooked, the other chicken dish was just cold and cheese unmelted. The chicken sandwich was served with their homemade kettle chips which tasted of old oil and nothing else. Lack of salt or any discernible seasoning. They have really fallen in quality and I should have realized that when their parking lot was empty at 6:00 on a Friday night. Absolutely do not recommend.
The server was not very attentive and was slow to take drink and food orders. When the food was ready it was sitting very long at the warming counter and the food was served cold. Also I would think a chicken sandwich would be constructed with a full chicken breast not previously prepared chicken nuggets. My wife's buffalo chicken wrap was also served cold. Unfortunately if this type of service and food quality continues this restaurant will go under.
Our waiter was amazing, refilled drinks quickly and very attentive for a busy evening. The food was just not up to the level I remember there. My burger was well done when asked for medium. My husband spicy chicken breast sandwich was chicken strips which was disappointing. The homemade chips have been replaced and looked like bottom of the bag for my serving. The beer was good as always but left disappointed in our food.
The food was not good. We had the Easter brunch buffet. The variety was terrible. The food quality was very poor. I will not be back. It was absolutely not worth the money. We like the restaurant but the Easter buffet was terrible.
We had 10 people and one high chair and we were very crowded at a table for 8. Buffet was good but could have a better selection of desserts. We had to stack empty plates because they weren't cleared often. On Easter when so busy with large family groups the music was too loud!
The one appetizer and two entrees for $25 or $35 is a great deal these days. We will definitely come back just to try other menu items. We had the $35 option and had the blistered Brussel sprouts as our appetizer. They were not good. Sauce was way too vinegar-y. I had the asian salad but was so big it would be for 3 or more meals. My fiancé had the breaded chicken which she enjoyed. We were there on a Saturday night at 7:30 and it was pretty dead in there. We'll give it another try for sure, but it's not like this was an especially memorable meal.
The waiter saw that we brought a cake to celebrate a birthday and even saw me lighting the candles. After all the candles were lit, he proceeded to tell me that he would be charging me $10 for bringing outside food. I proceeded to tell him I was not aware and that we would not serve the cake as I did not agree with the $10 charge. He should have advised us before the candles were lit. Also the Mediterranean Chicken was horrible. They put on an ice cold tomato relish that made the asparagus ice cold (the waiter said that was why) as well as the chicken. He said that he tells the restaurant this regularly and they refuse to do anything. He then got me extra asparagus that was hot and then tried to charge me an extra $4 for it. The fish and chips that were had were also way over cooked. The spinach artichoke dip we had to pour out the grease that it was swimming in and definitely is not a dip. Its a hunk of cheese that you have to cut to put on your chips/the 2 triangle pieces of pita bread that they give you.
The service/bartender was unfriendly and slow. Also, the drinks are ridiculously expensive. Food was good though, but never visiting again.
We had our company Christmas party here last week and I can't say enough good things about them! Everything ran so smoothly and ALL of the food was delicious! I still have people raving about it!! Special thanks goes out to Sandra & Eva for all of their help throughout the event! You handled the group well and kept everyone happy! From the crew at Reliable Home Improvement we appreciate you and can't wait to come back!
Went here for brunch today. The food was excellent, and the service was pretty good as well. The hostesses didn't seem too friendly or happy. I would recommend going here for brunch.

After Orland Park closed it had been a few years since we decided to go back to Granite City. Three of us had the Prime Sandwich which was good, but the fries were WAY over salted. After I had my last fry I had a 22 oz beer and 1 hour later I was still tasting salt and I had only eaten 1/3 of my fries.
The jambalaya was also over salted unfortunately. Also the side of Sweet Potato fries was very small and for 4.50 that they charge I would recommend skipping that item. The picture in this review is before 1 fry was removed.
Our server was very attentive and on point with refills and asking if we needed anything else. I may try it again in the future, but for now the salt left a bad taste in all of our mouths.
