0 stars. Placed an order online at 12:30am (a whole batch) this past weekend and drove out an hour just to find out that the lead had walked out and closed early. 2 hours earlier than usual closing time? How is that acceptable?!
Cookies are okay just need to be baked some more. The middle is gooey like it wasn't fully baked. It seems like a really nice place though. I will go back for another taste.
Love their cookies
Im in town for work had it almost evey night since Ive been here. Great ...buuut I get off late one night drivee 24 minutes from Bolingnrook show up at 2:44 AM and they are closed and cleaning. Not cool if it says 3 AM then let it be 3 AM. IT WAS 15 minutes before close you're selling cookies not something that takes 15 minutes to make.
Not open at 11:40 P.M. It says it is open until 3:00am and lights were on and a locked door. Very unprofessional. I notice that another person had the same problem on a review here a week ago. Insomnia cookies responded saying that they were sorry for having a bad experience, they never explained why it was closed 3 hours early.
I purchased 2 vegan cookies. The taste was amazingly good. They were moist. Good size if you like sweets but wish to exhibit portion control.
Always order here than in crumble , doesn’t taste as sugary; cooking it to my liking . 100% recommend coming here for a dessert/craving ! Deserves more stars !
I came to Insomnia at 12:55 and it was already closed even though the hours say it should’ve been open. The lights were on and workers were inside, but the doors were locked and they wouldn’t serve anyone. Very unprofessional and disappointing, especially when people come here expecting late-night service. I left very upset and frustrated.
No customer service at all. We weren't even asked if we needed help. I had to approach the clerk to make my order.
Came a few mins after they opened and they didn’t have half of their menu available. Why even open if you’re not ready

I had a terrible experience at this Insomnia Cookies location around midnight on August 9th. The customer service was absolutely unacceptable. Both the Caucasian male and African American female working behind the counter had the worst attitude, acting like taking my order was a huge inconvenience to them.
They barely acknowledged me, didn’t smile, and seemed more interested in rushing people out than actually providing any kind of decent service. The store was busy—but that’s no excuse to treat paying customers with such disrespect. It felt like I was being a bother just for placing an order.
I won’t be returning to this location, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who expects even basic courtesy.
Do better.
The two employees working on August 9th @11pm were extremely unprofessional and rude. It was my first time coming and I was asking questions about the menu and they proceeded to give an attitude. They acted as if they were doing me a favor, and their rude replies made me feel unwelcome. I strongly suggest that these two ppl don’t work the night shift again because they clearly do not want to be there and as my first time coming here I will not be returning after this experience. I hope those two can learn to put a smile on their face and not be miserable. The least they can do is act like they want to work there.
Immediate service to warm cookies. The brookie was 10/10
Potbelly cookie was around $2.25 and lost the taste test.
3 cookies 1 was hot 2 were cold and hard.
The purple hair girl up front was really nice and friendly. The red head in back seemed to be overwhelmed
