Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

My husband and I stopped here after Lu Malnati’s pizza on our road trip across the country from New York to Minnesota. I have had Jenny’s ice cream before years ago. Downtown Chicago and I absolutely love it! I read some other reviews saying that there were long lines, but we went late on a December evening with snow on the ground and a 30° chill in the air (lol) so there was no line for us.

There are so many flavors and there’s definitely something for everyone including non-dairy options.

The shop is super cute and clean, and you can sample flavors before committing. We decided on the birthday cake and salted peanut butter with chocolate chunks.

I was surprised when our bill came out to almost $20 because I didn’t think the scoops were that big. Something to note.

We are giving the service three stars because although we were the only ones in there and came in for ice cream enthusiastically, we did not feel that the two store associates were overly helpful, or engaging, or enthusiastic to help us. We felt a little bit like a nuisance.

I highly recommend the Almond Butter Brittle ice cream. Very tasty and unique flavor. I think this is Jenni’s signature ice cream flavor.

Over priced but WORTH IT.
Feels good eating ice cream that isn't full of garbage. Jeni's is the closest ice cream you will find that isn't insanely bad for you. Delicious flavors. The place smells like heaven. Fast service. Overall, wonderful experience. I'm addicted to the ooey gooey ice cream. So. Good.

I loved this place so much! The flavors are soo delicious! My favorite is the wild berry lavender! The people are very friendly and kind and good service! It’s a very cute place! I would highly recommend and suggest getting some ice cream from here!

Tried the Gooey Butter Cake and Buttercream Birthday Cake and they were both delish! The half scoops are great because you can try different flavors and the staff was really sweet. Prices were fine. My only complaint is that the shop is reallyyy small, so when there's a line, there's nowhere to go, but I can see why there's so many people waiting for this ice cream! Will absolutely be back.

I came here for ice cream after dinner on a weekday, and it was crowded. It's so delicious. Orange, mint chocolate highly recommended

Other than the always long line always busy, there is no complaint here!

The place feel new, from the second walked in, there smell of freshly made waffle cones and the sweet scent of homemade ice cream through the air!

The price is alright, they do half scoops so we can try more different favor but they are really one full scoops lol

Consider it was soo busy and the line was long, we didn’t wait too long!

The quality of the ice cream is amazing!  They have different favor, salted peanut butter, darkest chocolate, fluffernutter pie, brown butler almond brittle…

Interesting flavors that look good, but the ice cream was subpar. $7.25 for 1 scoop and I threw it out. Not creamy at all and not very flavorful. I should have known when the woman had such a hard time scooping out the ice cream because ot was so hard. My husband thought the same and threw his out.

There are a lot of ice cream options within Naperville river park area that are far better and more value for your money.

Service was disorganized. They skipped over us in line.

Got the lemon ice cream and the peach biscuit ice cream. Both were delicious. Pricey though.

Jeni’s ice cream is our favorite place in Naperville downtown! My daughter has severe peanut allergy and people there are taking it so seriously! Always using a new tub and new gloves plus washing the ice cream scoop every time and serving it with a smile! The lady in the picture who almost helped us every time when we go there, I believe her name Jenn or Jess! She is so nice and I appreciate her help!
