JoJo's Shake Bar - Naperville

Food is good.
They recently had a system issue with overbooking but I think they handled the situation well!
This is our 2nd time going and it’s such a fun activity to do with kids

My girlfriend's 4-year-old nephew used up all his energy at the DuPage Children's Museum. By the time it was over, he was hungry and wanted a place to eat (other than the Museum). So we settled on JoJo's shakeBAR, which wasn't too far away and was in the heart of Downtown Naperville. The Grok AI app highly suggested it. Upon coming in, we noticed the atmosphere was lively and very retro (looking late 80s/90s). May I also include the word: spiffy. Our server was Danny, who worked mainly in the bar. He was friendly and helpful, especially when it came to some of the food choices on the menu. For our lunch, we were able to get KIDS Mini Hot Dogs (for the nephew), Fish 'N' Chips (for myself), and The Codfather (for my girlfriend). Because they had a great lineup of desserts, we went for the basic milkshake and the Blueberry Lavendar shakeBAR (which the nephew personally chose). We left the place satisfied. Food was definitely worth it! We appreciated Danny for his customer service and server skills. For sure, we'll come back here soon, possibly in the springtime.

One more stop for Drew’s Bday! @jojosshakebar! I had not been here before and it was absolutely delightful! From food to desserts to the overall atmosphere! We made #Christmas ornaments- #tistheseason 🎅🏻can you pick out Mr.Boyer’s artwork 😂 #diehardisachristmasmovie 👊🏻 - I highly recommend this place!!

Very good spot to take your children. The holiday menus and theme are amazing as well. Service is faster and better than the one downtown. Finding parking was difficult but overall amazing

Service was great! Unfortunately, the food was not great. We ordered 5-6 different items, from sandwiches to salad, to burgers...everything was just OK. We didn't stay for shakes, so I can't comment on tht. If I went back it would be to try the shakes, not for the food.

This place is a gem! Perfect spot for a birthday brunch. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Overall, we had a good experience. The food and drinks were great. The issue was with an unexpected charge. I ordered a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate with the $6 Baileys add-in and asked for the Baileys on the side since I wasn't sure if I'd like the combination. When the check came, I was charged $14 for that small side of Baileys. I was never told that asking for it on the side would cost double. The waitress explained their usual pour size, but again, none of this was communicated beforehand. She then offered to get a manager, but no one ever came. Waiting and having no one show up felt a bit disrespectful. The server did remove the extra charge, and I appreciate that, but the situation didn't feel right. This is something that should be explained upfront so customers aren't surprised by extra charges.

Pumpkin painting was so fun! Would definitely go back and sit on the patio. Our server was great!

I had a pumpkin milkshake when I got home to bite into my apple the apple was expired ... so 2.5/5

Very heavy thick milkshake, delicious but they can use a little more milk so that it is not too thick to drink. It was more icecream than a milkshake.

Pricey but the kids love it!

Love this place! Went in for just shakes but the vibe of the place was awesome. They also had Gilmore girls on at the time! 10/10
