I wish I had looked up reviews for this place before deciding to try it out. Normally, I can look past poor customer service if the food is good but my experience here has been the worst experience I have ever had at a dining establishment. I had ordered my food and was waiting for a chicken lunch box dish. The lady working brought out a tray yelled out chicken and quickly turned away to go back into the back. I had been the only one waiting and I was confused why they didn't call numbers but knowing I bought a chicken dish (and never eating here before) I made the mistake of assuming this was my dish and walked away with it. What happened next was where it gets bad... As I was eating I heard yelling about a chicken lunch box and soon the lady is at my table yelling "Why did you grab this? This is not your food! Why did you grab it?!" Mind you she is yelling loud enough that the entire food court is now staring. She starts to angrily take the rice and utensils off my tray and slam them onto the table. She then points to the restaurant counter and yells at me to "Go get your food". At this point I completely lost my appetite and took her the rice and utensils and told her I didn't want that food anymore. I ended up ordering food from another restaurant on the food court. (thankfully they were very sweet and asked me if I was okay) Honestly, seeing all the negative reviews about this place doesn't surprise me now and I really wish I had seen them before ordering. I hope that you decide to take your business elsewhere because this place does not deserve it. Telling someone they made a mistake is one thing, but yelling at them so loud that an entire food court notices, slaming food around angrily, and barking orders at customers is not okay.

The customer service here is horrendous. My friend waited fifteen minutes for her meal and finally got it. However, it ended up being someone else's order and the cashier was not very clear about it. After taking the meal for about five minutes, the lady came over to our table and screamed at my friend asking why she took that meal. Everyone at the food court could hear her and she made a very awkward scene and ruined our meal. Will never go back

I liked their food until today I accidentally saw the lady picked up a used plate from a tray that returned by previous customer and used it directly for my appetizer without any rinsing. So gross!!

Pro tip: if the lady at the register is ignoring you/impatient with you, walk away. I was trying to make up my mind between two dishes, which annoyed the lady and she walked away. Despite me ringing the bell and her co-worker letting her know I was ready to order, I waited another 10 minutes. I didn't listen to the bad service warning signs and placed my order for tofu seafood soup with seafood pancake to go. My tofu soup came with 0 seafood. Guess that's what I get for annoying her. By the time I finished my meal my to go seafood pancake was just finished. Look a peek inside, see alot of pancake and not much seafood. Sigh, old rule, don't be too eager to buy something.

In general, this place is really mediocre. They are understaffed which is fine but the lady running the register was rude to my girlfriend and I. My girlfriend ordered the Tofu Soup and then I was trying to order but only charged her for the soup and went back to make the dish. I was waiting at the counter to order bulgogi but she kept mildly alerting us to go and sit down. The way the process credit card information was also just a bit... unsafe. They didn't take signatures and she had just left the card in for a really long time. The food itself was also mediocre. My bulgogi tasted fine not spectacular and it did come with side dishes but they weren't very good. Very bland and plain tasting and also some tasted like other side dishes like they were all mixed flavors. In general, this place gives a lot of food for what you pay for but it's bland. It's also not very clean since they don't regularly clean the tables at the court but it is self served so not much to expect there. Eat here if you're starving and you're already at H-mart. Otherwise, don't go out of your way to come here.

Kimchihana has pretty good Korean food with a lot of tasty side dishes but I stopped coming here for two reasons. First of all, they never have enough staff and it takes forever for the food to come out. But secondly, I saw the lady from the register behind the curtain in the kitchen using her hands to put all of the side dishes into the little plates. She was short handed, as usual, and angry at kitchen staff and barking at customers b/c it was busy, but after I saw the way she handled the food with her fingers, I stopped going there. In addition to this, the food court in general is dirty. The bathrooms are disgusting and the facility is in need of major cleaning and sanitation.

If you really give this place 2 stars or higher, you seriously have something wrong with your palette... This food is a joke to Korean Culture, and I'm Korean!!!! The side dishes taste old and too sour, the old Halmeoni gets the orders wrong frequently and even STOLE my mother's money, she took an extra $40!!!!! Bad food, management, and morales! This place and the owner are a joke to Korea. Given, 1 or two dishes are decent, but seriously? Out of what, 15 (+) other dishes. The ratio just doesn't add up.

The lunchtime combo boxes are my favorite, because they're tasty and fresh. But the last couple of times I've really had a long time to wait. Today, I waited just under 50 minutes for my lunch. It took the lady 5 minutes to go back and forth to the kitchen and then open up the register while holding her hair back and going through her purse for more $1's. I was the only person there for the first 35 minutes. Then they (eventually another man showed up to help) put away produce and went back and forth from the kitchen to the register and put away produce and carts and soda. Other people had orders from other food stands, had eaten and left by the time of got my food. Next time I travel to H-Mart, I will go to either of the other food stands before I go back to this one.

Ordered a naeng myun (cold summer noodles) and received hot shin ramyun instead. My husband and I were confused when we picked it up but the cashier insisted it was naengmyun (#N1) from their menu. Never again.

Good food, tends to be a wait. I would definitely go for the combos. I had the bulgogi and japchae combo and it was a good amount of food for what I paid.

We tried this place today and it was delicious. I had the spicy beef soup which came with like 15 condiments on the side. I didnt care for the condimemts but my partner liked them. We shared the soup which also came with a perfectly cookedsticky white rice. We both ate and have leftovers. The service is slow but for 9.61 we both ate and i had a coke. Try it

This was literally the worst Korean food I have ever eaten. We had the bulgogi jungol (K3) and the mandugook noodle soup (11). The mandugook soup was completely bland. We tried adding salt, pepper, and even soy sauce to give it some flavor, but it was hopeless since what it really needed was sesame oil. The bulgogi jungol was marginally better, as the bulgogi gave it some flavor. Not only that, but they didn't give us everything that was supposed to come with each dinner entree. I noticed all the other diners around us had ban chan, but thought maybe you had to order it separately since it was shown in the display case as a $7 special. When we finished I went to put the dishes away, but we did not have a tray to slide into the cart. So I put the dishes on the counter. That's when I looked at the menu again and noticed that all entrees come with a bowl of rice and "Korean side dishes." When they rang the bell for us to pick up our order all we got was literally one bowl of the soup -- no rice, no ban chan, not even a serving tray. Each bowl of soup came out separately, about five minutes apart, and set out by two different people, so they had "forgotten" to give us all of our food not once, but twice. When I told the woman at the counter that we did not receive any rice or ban chon, she gave us one take out container of ban chon and one container of rice (despite the fact that we were shorted two orders of each). One star for trying to rectify the situation, but it's difficult to imagine this wasn't a deliberate oversight to save money by cheating first time customers.
