As always our bratwurst was tender and very tasty, the brisket sandwich excellent. Big, soft, homade buns. No nonsense lunch. A sandwich, bag of chips and a can of pop. Atmosphere can't be beat for a friendly, homey feeling. The staff is helpful, welcoming and they remember you and take the time to talk with you. The side dishes are amazing and have that homemade taste. Their calico beans with pieces of bratwurst are a must for any BBQ or on their own. The creative flavor varieties of the brats are fun to try and there is something for everyone's tastes.

Parking: Just a few parking spots and then street parking. It can be hard to get close on a summer Saturday, but worth the walk.

Kid-friendliness: Big family style tables, some books for kids to read, just a pleasant place.

Best brats in town. They’re only open two days a week for lunch and there’s always a line, so that should tell you what you need know. We go every week we can. Old grocery store that’s been in the family for multiple generations. If they have soup or chili, get it!

Home made brat, not overly seasoned but it brings out full flavor. I can taste the smokiness of the sausage despite no char marks.

We served grilled bratwurst from Kregers for the first time this 4th of July, and they were delicious, gently simmered in beer and slow roasted on the grill. I’m really glad we finally tried this Naperville classic. Next time I’m going to try dining in!

2nd 40 minute drive, and went home again with nothing. We have plenty of sausage they say, and when you get there they are putting away scraps. It is a mystery what is going to be made, and seems mostly the same each week. Small batches, and poor business hours. Went to a local butcher on the way home and got just as good, or better homemade sausage. No longer a customer.
