Le Chocolat du Bouchard - Bakery du Bouchard

Spent an afternoon on Naperville and went to the Le Chocolat du Bouchard to pick up some chocolates for taking back home for the family. The shop is really lovely, and the lady who helped me pick the chocolates was really warm and friendly, and provided good suggestions. Back home, everyone I gifted a box of chocolates to, really loved them, and so did I. They are absolutely delicious. Thank you!

We ordered a 6 inch red velvet cream frosting for my birthday this last month. Now we have been avid customers for a long time now. Upon serving my cake I suddenly realized the cake was DRY and very DENSE. we returned the cake for examination by the owner. The owner deemed the cake fine and thought nothing to call us and let us know their decision. We finally called back to find out. essentially I spent $40 on two slices of my cake, received horrible customer service and didn’t even get a cake. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We did order the cake for our reception and the sweets. Everything was delicious.The Girl from the bakery,which was helping us via phone, had great customer service skill and she was very helpful.

Delicious dessert selection and coffee as well! Staff were cheerful and helpful being very attentive and offering advice. The place is beautiful inside and the environment takes me back to my childhood! So vintage and clean with obvious updates.

Highly disappointed! I understand that most places are short staffed but it doesn’t give staff a reason to be rude. We arrived at 8 pm to have dessert and drinks to celebrate my son’s birthday. A young lady took our name and number and said it would be 10-15 minutes and that they seat the last table at 830 pm but they should get us seated. Ten minutes later the same lady said it shouldn’t be too much longer but we could always take stuff to go and sit by the river since it’s
