This place was recently sold and I was worried it would go downhill. My fears were so wrong. They have seriously upped their game. I used to place their egg rolls in the mid tier of Naperville area Chinese restaurants, but now I think they are the best egg rolls in the western burbs. Price is reasonable. Food is good. Staff is kind. Portions are big. There might be certain specialty dishes that other places do better, but overall this place is a can’t miss stop for takeout Chinese.

Learned that New Wok could be intertwined w the old version of Lucky Wok (when it was amazing) so gave it a try. I felt like I was back eating take out from the old version of that other place. New Wok won me over to try them again!

Dietary restrictions: I was able to order dishes without onion and msg.

Parking: Parking was available in a large lot for the patrons of all businesses.

I heard this is under new management so since we started not liking our regular place (something must have changed) we wanted to give it a try. I had shrimp pan fried noodles (yum) - hubby, combo fried rice (yum) and kids, lobster sauce with black beans (very good). We also had the potstickers and egg rolls. Everything was great. Service was very good. I used an Amex, even though they don’t take it (didn’t see the sign) and they just asked if next time I’d use a different card, but processed it. Good to have a Chinese place again!!

Owner is knowledgeable about the food and willing to engage with customers, with perfect English. I just got Mongolian chicken and Pot Stickers. Only $17, consider it reasonable pricing.

May 12, 2024 Have eaten from this New Wok but, today I was under the impression it has new owners since being closed during 2023 winter. Today's meal order for 2 adults was HongSue chicken sm, fried rice small and Crab Rangoon. I want ya'll to know it was VERY GOOD! There was plenty to save for another meal cost only 25.00. Was hot and tasty! Thanks New Wok. We like Chinese carryout. Fof the past couple of years its been a dessert for good Chinese carry out. Dont hesitate folks give this place a try.

This was the blandest and most disgusting Chinese we have ever had. I’m pretty sure the lo Mein noodles were angel hair spaghetti and the chicken was solid white. No seasoning, flavor, or sauce. Was really disappointed, but based on other reviews, maybe this is how Chinese is in Illinois? Unsure. We aren’t from here.
