Best family owned and operated restaurant west of the Dupage river.
My eggs & sausage dish was awesome and the service is top notch.

Been to this place a few times and there are two things that stand out: the high prices and the downward spiral with the food; it used to be good, but not so much now, unfortunately. Won't be back.

Shari, the owner, was wonderful. We had a nice conversation about days gone by. This family owned piece of Americana is absolutely one of the best breakfast and lunch old timey American restaurants I've been to. And I've been to a lot. The granddaughter Christina, was pretty, intellectual, engaging, and very thought-provoking concerning the future. This family owned facility is full of love and built on hard work and an insatiable drive to give the community something of quality.

Don't let the fancy joints fool you, they charge twice as much, and put down places that are tried and true. When some new sheeple arrives on the scene, with their snoot in the air, and puts down those that have plowed the road for them, that's pretty sad. And obnoxious!

My wife my sister and myself enjoyed our breakfast. There was enough food to feed six people not just three. The pancakes were delicious The omelets are fantastic, (and huge) an order of sausage is actually four links which is extremely rare anywhere now. I love the wheat toast,(Brownberry)' You get enough butter for everything! My wife ordered some Canadian bacon and she loved it. The orange juice was fresh squeezed, literally! Some pulp, and a lot of flavor. You couldn't ask for better. And the specialty coffees are through the roof Good! Their regular coffee is no slouch either. Prices are very fair for what you get. It really is a feast. This establishment has been around since the entire area was corn fields, so that tells you, the type of food you're going to get, and eat like farmers eat. Working folk! I'll tell you you won't be disappointed. 😄

Oh and by the way, naugahyde?

Some of the most delicious outback food joints have naugahyde seats. Why is that a problem? My 280 million views say it's not a problem at all!

Lovely place for friends to meet! We went on a weekday late morning and did not have to wait for a table. Table service was attentive with our waitress checking on us several times. Food was delicious (generous portions) and the presentation was amazing! I especially enjoyed the crepes. They were the best I've had in a long time!

3 years ago I would have given 5 stars, unfortunately the portions have only gotten smaller, the prices have gotten higher, quality is the same so I'll come back but not as often, especially when nearby suburbs have better options.

Great food and service but stay away from the egg salad sandwich, it was dry and skimpy and not worth the price.

Food is good, with a lot of pancakes and waffles. But I go for the staff. They can make my whole day.

Way over priced for the portions you get. Pancakes were very dry and the meat lover scrambler was 2 eggs a few crumbles of bacon and maybe 2 chopped up sausage links. It was served on a cake plate all for $18. A simple BLT was $18. $50 for 2 breakfast without the tip added. You can eat at Texas Roadhouse for lunch and get a sirloin steak for that much. I will say our service was excellent.

4th generation locally owned family restaurant. The food is good, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. The owners remember you and treat you like family. Been coming here since moved to Naperville in 2000. Moved away in 2019 and came back to have breakfast today and staff remembered us!

I stopped by for a weekday breakfast and overall had a good experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was served quickly. I enjoyed the blueberry pancakes and the bottomless coffee — both were satisfying.

One small downside was the condition of the utensils and glassware; they seemed quite old and had visible scratches, which made them feel less clean even though they were probably washed. A refresh on those would really improve the overall feel.

Still, it was a cozy spot and I’d consider coming back.

Fantastic food! Friendly waitstaff! Their 'plain' pancakes are anything but! Wonderful taste, fluffy, and the whipped butter and warm syrup they are served with are a perfect combo. Coffee is tasty and you get real cream too. We used to come all the time 20 years ago when we lived in Naperville. So glad they're still here!
