I honestly tried my best to keep an open mind when I walked in… If you’ve ever seen the movie Twins, I would compare Portillo‘s to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Patelli’s to Danny DeVito.. that about sums it up🤷🏻‍♂️

Ordered a gyro roll and cheese fries and they were so good! 10/10 Also, the positive affirmations written on the bags were something that I really appreciated and really needed today. Thank you, I appreciate you and your delicious food. Highly recommend!

My husband ordered Chicken gyro plate and was given GYRO plate. Came back to let them know the mistake, gave them the original order, made us pay the difference of $1 for the meal. Didn't acknowledge the inconvenience it caused us to go back there from Montgomery. We got the correct order but yet they skimmed us on the meat, supposed to feed at least 3 ppl its just enough for one barely. What a waste of time and money. Never will I go there again! I'll stick with Nicky's!

This place is what Portillos wants to be when they grow up. Every item on the menu is made to order. The crispy beef roll should be added to the fast food hall of fame.

Chicken philly sandwich was empty

This was not our first visit, nor will it be our last. The portions are INSANE, the owner and his staff are super friendly and the food was served pretty quickly. Everything was served hot and fresh and it was all delicious! Can’t wait to come back for another meal!

Amazing curly fries, some of the best out there. Gyro meat is on point with the sauce. Staff is very friendly, efficient, and curtious. Great lunch spot.

Update: Had to change from 5 to 3 stars after our third order from here. Got subbed items we didn't order and some items were much smaller than we received in previous orders making it not really worth the price. Chicken gyro meat was also really dry. Inconsistent. Turns out that maybe our first order that was great was the anomaly.

Original: Really enjoyed the gyro plate and chicken gyro salad. The gyro plate could feed two as advertised, lots of meat and a big side of fries. The salad had a lot of tasty toppings, though I wish the green peppers were cut a bit smaller. That was the only real complaint though. The actual chicken gyro meat was really great. We'll order from here again.
