Been here 2 times in the last month...1st time I bought a steak burrito dinner, i spent xtra money for steak and there was hardly anything at all .. 2nd time the food was gross and the drinks tasted like there was soap in the cups..im done..i dont recommend this place

You don’t come here for food. You come for the patio. You come for the music, drinks and fun atmosphere. If you come for food 3 stars. Otherwise enjoy the vibe!

Tried to go to the patio last Saturday night, didn’t get let in because I was wearing a sweatshirt… sorry for being chilly

Obviously not a gourmet extravaganza 😂 not sure what people in reviews expect. It’s a vibe place. Great live music, local folks enjoying drinks during warm evenings, eating finger food. We need more places like this 👍

This place was pretty neat.The music was pretty great.It was a little overcrowded but when you're popular.I get it at the light.Turn left onto Central Avenue South.Then your destination will be on the left.

After visiting potters last night on Friday August 15, 2025 I felt not just for my first time visiting but in overall for everyone else who plans on visiting is thinking twice on ordering any kind of Drinks 🍸 because our pitcher margarita tasted water down. Even one of the employees looked at the pitcher and shook hes head because it wasn't fully filled like others. After mentioning it to others they also had bad experiences with their drinks. I'm looking forward next time to try their food plates but staying away from specialty drinks 🍸.

Nice place for those hot days.
The patio it's phenomenal. I didn't eat here we just had a few drinks with my wife, watching college football, and stay a bit for the band. We definitely had a great time.

We sat outside- received our water and chips soon after menu no problem 5 mins went by took our drink order , took 20 mins to get 1
Drink (margarita), another 15 mins passed got another waitress and then received the other drink which was a beer. Took another 15 mins for her to come Back and take our order. Order finally came out and
1 entree was very rare meat when it was suppose to be well done. Took another waitress to get our waitress ,she then came picked up my plate and we waited another 15 mins.
15 minutes later food came out with totallly a different type of fries ok
Totally shocked.
But that’s not the end she gave us our bill with the amount on her screen & set her tip to 25 % tip .This is totally wrong!

I'd heard good things about Potter's Place and checked it out. From the moment we walked in, it was so loud we could barely hear ourselves think, let alone what the servers were saying! My dad had a decibel reader on his phone and checked how loud the place was (pic attached.) I understand that there were other people in the restaurant, but the music and TV didn't help.
As far as the food, I got the signature Christmas Tree Burrito with shredded beef. For the price I would've liked it to have come with beans and rice, but maybe that's just Naperville pricing.
Overall, it was an okay experience. Friendly staff and good food, but kind of pricey and definitely too loud.

Horrible food with no seasoning, bathroom situation is a nightmare bc they only have 3 toilets total, one is in a hallway the other middle of the dance floor. Power hungry security on top of all that. Would give them a negative score if I could. Only decent thing is live music. Not worth it
