the manager was so rude he literally kicked us out don’t go there

Whatever happened, it still doesn’t justify how rude you were or calling the cops on us. You completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun birthday night. We had already apologized — it was an accident and a bad habit, not intentional. The vape was on the table, and I personally didn’t even use it. If my friend did, it was by accident, and she immediately said sorry, as did the rest of us. You didn’t accept our apology and instead chose to escalate things in a way that was unnecessary and unkind. A little understanding and respect could’ve gone a long way.

Good food and services. Can’t complain about the hamburger meal and what I believe is duck fat fries. Hamburger had good flavor profile between rich and a little spice to it

Came with a party of 4 (plus 2 service dogs) and no reservation. Very friendly host staff led us to a small lounge area off the regular floor that perfectly accomodated us and the animals and boasted a great view. Our server (who said she was still training) was friendly and efficient. Orders were taken and food delivered quickly and food came out fresh and hot without time waiting under heat lamps. My Bloody Mary was tasty, though could have been a bit stronger. Though, I appreciated that the garnishing was restrained and it didn't come with a whole antipasto platter on top as some places like to do. The music was a bit loud for my taste, but I'm old. The room was bright and pleasant, food was good, and we had a great time.

No vegetarian options. And they couldn't accommodate egg whites either. The hostess pretty much said no to everything we asked for.

Santo Cielo is appealing to the eye. The layout is very interesting and has good views. The food was very good, while the menu is a bit limited their options are fun and tasty. The service however was not good. From the hostess who was rude because she had to accommodate our party of 4 in a table instead of their available bar top, to the server who was impatient and not friendly.

Had a girl's night, and unfortunately things were not as good as we expected. It was a martini Thursday. The cucumber martini was refreshing. Our waitress, never introduced herself. I had to ask if she was or server for the night as well as her name, after reaching over us to pour water without excusing her reach. The temperature was very warm, so dress light. The music was actually very good that evening. Our food came out room temperature and not warm/ hot as expected(steak and burger). I had to remind the waitress of our side order and it came out after we were halfway done with our meal. I hoped to love this experience after reading many great reviews and seeing awesome photos of the food, but it didn't fall through. Unfortunately, we will not return. I do hope that there is proper hospitality training for the front of the house and wait staff. The front of the house sets the entire mood once walking in. A location may be gorgeous but if hospitality fails, it's a no return for me.

Santo Cielo is by far one of my favorite restaurants when I'm Naperville! It's great for date night or celebrating anything. Great food, atmosphere and drinks. Free parking.

Reading other reviews, this wasn’t the first time the AC wasn’t working. It was absolutely uncomfortable. I asked the hostess whats going on with the AC and she said it was broken. I asked if they had any fans or anything to make it more comfortable. They only had 1 fan and it was in use. If your AC keeps breaking please consider getting more backup options. Our table of 8 including my elderly parents, a baby, and a pregnant person couldn’t stay so we had to find another last minute place to celebrate my mother’s birthday. We had a reservation so if you can confirm a reservation, you can also be proactive about communicating the AC outages on the top story of a building.

Also PSA to parents, they don’t have any high chairs, just boosters.

The open kitchen area is absolutely beautiful, and before being seated, my expectations for both the food and the overall experience were very high. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match.

The restaurant was incredibly loud—so much that I couldn’t have a conversation with the person right in front of me. It’s also not kid-friendly. Service was very slow, and dishes came out at completely different times. There was a 15-minute gap between the first and last plate, which meant my group had to eat in shifts.

The food was executed correctly—it was okay, but nothing memorable. I usually enjoy calm dinners where everyone eats together, and this experience just didn’t deliver
