Under cooked food and long wait time…

Idli, Dosa, and other dishes are good. Tea is also good. Their weekend buffet used to be excellent when it was $12 and had many options. Now they increased the price to $15 and reduced the number of dishes in the buffet menu.

service = mixing up of orders & long wait time, staff looks busy except for billing
food = soggy rava dosa instead of crispy, average sambar with no salt, avoid alum chutney for own sake.

simply avoid if possible and go for other place(s).

I dont expect the food to be great but aleast it has to be edible. We ordered ravva dosa and it was no way close to it. Its half cooked and when we go to staff to ask they were not responsive and asked us wait.

Ordered Rava Onion Dosa along with other 2 dosas. Order came late and in 2 different batches. Rava dosa was very sticky instead of being crispy. Also the alam (ginger chutney) served with it was really bad. Won't recommend this place to anyone.

Went for tiffin buffet over the weekend. Not the first time. They have variety of foods but the taste is above average not great. Side dishes especially sambar and chutney could have been much better. Occasionally you can go there to try out variety of tiffin items during weekends where they serve breakfast buffet. $15 for adults and $9 for kids, with cash you get some discounts. Idly, poori, pongal, tea was the highlight from the dishes they served they are really good. Certainly worth for the money but taste is compromised.

I recently visited Surya Tiffins and absolutely loved their idli and vada! The idlis were soft and fluffy, while the vadas were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. What really elevated the experience were the sides — the flavorful sambar and the fresh tomato and coconut chutneys. Each bite felt authentic and comforting, just like home-style South Indian food.

If you’re looking for a wholesome and delicious South Indian breakfast, Surya Tiffins is a must-try!

had brunch and food quality is ok but variety of items. salad/upma/dosa/poori is good. vada/chutneys/tea/coffee are not upto the mark.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic the food is truly awesome. Enjoying a hearty breakfast here, with a variety of flavorful sides for dosa idly and other dishes, made me feel right at home. It’s comforting and delicious, just like homemade food.

I went to Surya Tiffins, and I was quite disappointed with the condition of the food box. The packaging was not only improper but also visibly dirty, which is very concerning from a hygiene perspective.
