Update November 2024 - I had eaten at Tandoor Hut every week for 9 years. Over the last year the food has changed and I cannot suggest it as highly as I did in the past. The food doesn’t taste as good and there have been some items that are so spicy we couldn’t finish them and we like spicy foods. Their dosa still seems to be as good as it has always been which is a plus. It’s also the only place to get peanut chat which we like. I have been going to Tandoor Hut 1-2 times a week for a year and love it! The staff can easily tell me what is vegan and what has dairy in it. Their lunch and dinner specials are served from their "hot table" (like a buffet). One side is meat one side is without meat. For lunch you can choose 3 dishes, rice and Naan. I am gluten free so I haven't asked if the naan has dairy. I just get extra rice instead of naan. There are always 3 -4 different vegan dishes I can choose from for lunch. You can also order off the menu. I haven't eaten anything I didn't like. I have eaten a lot of Indian food from New Jersey, Florida and Naperville and this is probably my favorite of all the restaurants I have tried. I think these guys need to taste the curries that they are selling. Firstly the head chef and the owner of the place should taste the salt less curries that they sell. They are selling tomato curry in the name of chicken curry.

Stealing money charging 5$ just to pack the combo. Never recommend to go there.

Food was pretty good, server was super attentive and nice. I love that it's like a fast food like you just go in and everything is ready you just have to pick which one you like, they have great choices for vegetarians as well. The butter naan was so good. Plenty of spaces to park outside. A little outdated and needs an update when it comes to the interior but it isn't too bad. I would be coming back and it is super affordable.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are super welcome, there should be something for the kids to eat on the menu.

If you're looking for great food, but not a flashy night out, dine in and get the Thali platter (only for dine in. Inc. 3 dishes, rice and roti). Take out does a brisk business, too. We had our choice of 5 dishes for the vegan options (all were delicious and spiced well) the roti was made to order, and we ordered samosas separately. Bottled/canned drinks available. Just say you're vegan and they'll take care of you!
