When I went to pickup my friend's party order, first of all the front desk don't have any information about it. After sometime frontdesk confirms that the order was non-veg whereas my friend has ordered veg. Again after sometime and after some unanswered calls to owner or manager, they came to a conclusion that some tray sitting inside warmer may be the one for us and it was our item too.
They offered to keep it in my car trunk and they did. In the next red light I had a doubt , so pulled over and checked, it was too late, panneer masala spilled on my entire trunk and went under back seats. Only because I found that, they the opened the tray lid to check item and didn't lock it.
I tried initial cleanup for more than couple hours and now it costs me interior detailing and new carpets.
I DO NOT TRUST THEIR SERVICE.
Don't go here until they fix TV, literally fixing every wall sign once at a time, there's days when AC doesn't even work in there. There's better places.
We ordered catering ordered for our party..all veg items everything was delicious..perfect food for party not at all oily. Our guest loved the food.We order over the phone...no advice needed..highly reliable & good communication no problem at all...Thankyou Gautami tandoor hut for making our party delicious🙂
Very Nice tasty food at a phenomenal price, making it one of the best bang for the $$. Didn't feel bloated after eating the thali. Curries were spiced perfectly and food in-general was not too greasy.
Probably the best tandoor in the Chicagoland area. The lasooni chicken (boneless garlic tandoori chicken) is the best i’ve had outside of India. Unassuming and unpretentious atmosphere with judicious pricing and generous portions.
Tandoor Hut in Naperville is a hidden gem! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Love their goat roast and garlic naan. Service is fast and friendly — perfect for takeout or casual dine-in. Always hits the spot!
I just got papdi chaat from here and there was barely any chickpeas in it! It was mostly just onions and the sauces and a few potatoes/tomatoes, I think maybe 4-5 total chickpeas. That is not chaat. Kindly improve your chickpea quantity, or change the name of the dish. It was definitely not worth $8.
Update November 2024 - I had eaten at Tandoor Hut every week for 9 years. Over the last year the food has changed and I cannot suggest it as highly as I did in the past. The food doesn’t taste as good and there have been some items that are so spicy we couldn’t finish them and we like spicy foods. Their dosa still seems to be as good as it has always been which is a plus. It’s also the only place to get peanut chat which we like. I have been going to Tandoor Hut 1-2 times a week for a year and love it! The staff can easily tell me what is vegan and what has dairy in it. Their lunch and dinner specials are served from their "hot table" (like a buffet). One side is meat one side is without meat. For lunch you can choose 3 dishes, rice and Naan. I am gluten free so I haven't asked if the naan has dairy. I just get extra rice instead of naan. There are always 3 -4 different vegan dishes I can choose from for lunch. You can also order off the menu. I haven't eaten anything I didn't like. I have eaten a lot of Indian food from New Jersey, Florida and Naperville and this is probably my favorite of all the restaurants I have tried. I think these guys need to taste the curries that they are selling. Firstly the head chef and the owner of the place should taste the salt less curries that they sell. They are selling tomato curry in the name of chicken curry.
