Jenny was a great server. Perfect place to bring a group. We were able to have a great evening
We enjoyed our time together as a family. We dined and drank at UP North after attending our Christmas Eve church service. We enjoyed the food, service, prices were good, ambiance was cozy & cabin like feel. We sat at a low/ standard table. They had many high top tables as well all the tables seemed very nice, every place to sit seemed like it would be comfy.
We had a fantastic experience yesterday at Up North Ale House. Our server, Alex, was wonderful. She was attentive and engaging without being intrusive, and she was very good about making sure we had everything we needed at all time. The food was well prepared, tasty and at the right temperature. And the only reason I gave the 4 stars instead of a 5 for the ambience is because we're really not sports bar kind of people, but there was nothing wrong with what we saw. It was clean and everything appeared well kept up. Tons of screens if that is your thing. Overall, we had a great visit.
Great food and excellent service! We got our food relatively quick, and it was amazing. I can't remember our servers name but she was very attentive and made a great recommendation for one of our entrees. Will definitely come back!
My husband and I went to Up North Ale House with another couple. It was our first time there. We decided to give it a try after seeing ads about the restaurant. The service was less than desirable. We had an early dinner, and there wasn't much going on in the restaurant except for some parties in another area of the restaurant. We couldn't tell which server was handling our table (we had two servers - assuming one was in training). We waited an unusually long time for a server to come to our table to take our drink and food orders. We placed our orders and then waited nearly 20 minutes just for our appetizers. Our main course came out before we even had a chance to finish our appetizers. The food was unremarkable. We won't be going back. It was a disappointment.
I was able to reserve a table for 10 on Mother's Day. This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and everyone was extremely satisfied with the food. The menu is impressive because of the wide variety of options. We had everything from the wings, brussel sprouts, salmon, sirloin, burgers, chicken parmesan... Everyone's appetizers and dinners were delicious and freshly cooked. There were 0 complaints and even my brother from out of town said that he'll definitely be back when he returns. 10/10. The service was also great.
Nice go to place if you don't have anything specific in mind. Sat and ate at the bar. The bartender was very accommodating.
Up North Ale house is pub friendly atmosphere with casual dining. The menu always surprises me with variety of choices from burgers to salmon and steaks. The food is nicely presented and tastes good. I like that we can go there and eat quality food and listen to live music! There are tvs if you want to watch sports. I also noticed a lot of young families at our earlier dinner time. We have also gone with other couples to enjoy music, dinner along with the great selection of Kraft beer, cocktails and several other options. It's nice to have a neighborhood type restaurant and bar in the West Suburbs.
Waited in the front with my family, was not greeted for over 5 minutes. I understand things happen in a restaurant but the host wasn’t present at all to acknowledge guests in the front. Great first impression to give.

The parking lot of this establishment damaged my vehicle. There is a section with a massive dip which damaged my bumper. I do not drive a "lowered" vehicle. if you go to this location i strongly suggest driving with extra caution. The problem occurred where the restaurant parking lot meets the larger parking lot of the plaza.
On the plus side, the burger was tasty. Prices are a little steep but the quality of the food was alright. Service was polite and friendly.

My friends and I went there for Wednesday Night Trivia, and we had a great time. The service was great and the food was delicious!
The service was quick considering it was Valentines Day I had the slider burgers and cheese sticks which was fine but my wife had the New York strip steak and it had to be sent back twice. The server was friendly.
The ambience and the food was great. Our server was awesome. However, I believe the kitchen was just a little slow that night mostly because it was very full on a Saturday night.
