I was absolutely disappointed that they discontinued the chicken thighs entree. I had it last month and came back mainly for that.They ran out of wagyu beef. Another disappointment!

First time there. Came in with a party of 6. The restaurant was very busy. But our server Crystal was outstanding!!!!!! Very personable, knowledgeable, and all recommendations were spot on. Appetizers, meals and desserts were amazing. The runners, bus help also 5 stars. As we were leaving the owner actually made it a point to ask us how everything was. We will definitely be back. Very impressed.

Vai's Italian kitchen is by far our most favorite place in the Naperville/Aurora/Plainfield area. The food quality is like one of the finer downtown Chicago restaurants quality. Their covered patio with firplace is a treat to sit and enjoy meals. The service is always excellent. One thing that we would like to say is that bring Mushroom Sachetti back, it's our all-time favorite! The desserts were delicious, too! If you're looking for a quality dining experience, Vai's must be at the top of your list in and around the Naperville area!
Was there a fire at Vai’s? Went tonight and the entire restaurant smelled like smoke. Got home and everyone’s clothes smell like a campfire. We all need dry cleaning.

We dined here for the first time tonight, and will definitely be back! The food and atmosphere were both fantastic, but the true star of the night was our waiter, Michael. He was audible, affable, and very knowledgeable about the menu and the specials (our table ordered 2 of them). Wonderful meal and superb service!

5+ Stars! This place is my new favorite restaurant in the naperville area. Truly amazing staff, our sever was so kind and helpful. The NA cocktails are sweet but tasty. The food was so delicious and I especially enjoyed how quick it came out the kitchen! My group got a variety of dishes and everything was cooked perfectly, and seasoned to perfection. I was so shocked I hadn’t been here before because it was a lovely experience. I will 10000% be returning.
Garlic bread is garlic bread, but holy cow is theirs so good. You can tell they make their own pasta. It's just fresh and perfect. The chicken parm was so tender.

VAI's is hands-down the best restaurant in Naperville and beyond! The steaks, pastas, burgers, fish... the specials!! The mushroom carpaccio and burrata with grilled grapes are some of my favorites. Always so creative and flavorful. Nothing disappoints! We'll be back again and again!
