Not very happy with the place the food was not very authentic tell you the truth I wouldn't consider this place for a Greek restaurant am Greek and I def don't recommend this place.
We sat outside for some alfresco dining and a lovely evening in Naperville. It was busy, but we were greeted with a cheerful smile by our waitress Siba. The food was great as usual, but what really stood out this time was our waitress. Siba was fun and engaging. It felt like she gave her genuine opinion on what she recommended and we hope we see her again on our next visit.
I was surprised at the AMAZING quality and deliciousness of everything we ate from salads, entrees, and dessert. This is a MUST go-to restaurant if you enjoy Mediterranean food!
Very happy with everything we ate and the service! The taramosalata was unexpectedly delicious and I'm glad we tried it, per Paloma's recommendation. The lamb shank was fork tender, the pomegranate in the couscous was the perfect accent. The halibut had a nice sear and had a beautiful flake. We were treated to complementary currant sorbet for my birthday which was a lovely gesture. Service was wonderful. We were checked in on frequently and Paloma and Dani were friendly and knowledgeable.
From the moment we sat down until the moment we left, we were treated with the highest levels of hospitality. Our server Liz was fantastic with making recommendations and describing the dishes we inquired about. Each dish was full of freshness and flavor. Interior is clean and modern, and the menu has many Greek inspired dishes. Right on the river walk in Naperville, this is a MUST try if you're in the area!
Very pleasant outside dining experience. Food and service was great very nice evening out.
Our service was exceptional! The food was decent and their house wines delicious. Very loud restaurant so I would not recommend if you want to have important conversations.
everyone was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our dining wonderful. the bartender was great with helping us pick a drink and our waiter was great. great place to celebrate a birthday
Vasili's is my favorite dntn naper restaurant. The unsung heroes are DEFINITELY the guys in the kitchen- working like a machine, literally in front of the open fire. The food is consistent. Every. Single. Time. I love the vibe. The bartenders hustle like no others. The feta brined chicken is the best entree in dntn naper. Mgr Justin is the friendliest face and moves around the place with such grace. The noise level is my only critique. There are creative ways it could be addressed so we can come on a wknd night and still hear each other talk. This place makes you feel like you're in another place, on vaca. Bravo.
Celebrated a birthday and anniversary with friends. The server was excellent with great recommendations. The food was great, from the Trio and Vasili chips appetizer to the shared kebabs and lamb shanks. Highly recommend.

As always, the food was delicious, and our waiter was attentive to our needs, but not overly pushy.
Our server, Daniela, was absolutely amazing and made the night for us!! However, the food took awhile to come out and the bar was incredibly understaffed as well, so we didn't get our second round of drinks until we were pretty much done with our entrees. I think she pretty much had to go back and make them herself to get them. The slowness of the food / drink took a toll on the evening, but the quality was good. Thank you, Daniela for salvaging the evening!
We have been to Vasili's several times and ate inside in the back near the river and outside, but never on the east side. It was a little cramped and noisy/energetic. It wasn't bad, just more communal than the back. Food is very good and portions are large. Service was great.
Service was slow but good was really good. Unfortunately there was some hair in my food and had to be sent back.
Siba was a really great waitress! She was very friendly and welcoming, and even went out of her way to get my mom a special birthday dessert. She's great!
