Annoying, unhelpful AI drive-thru. Normally love Wendy's - very disappointed.
Employees are super nice and welcoming and the food and interior is good.

In the drive thru, I ordered on their AI food board. How do you miss the JBC in a JBC Bag???? Seriously, do I need to take everything out of the bag, it's not that difficult.

Bought 2 cheeseburgers, plain, both were tiny, downgraded in size from the past time I'd been there. Also, they did not give me plain, even though I requested it. I also ordered non spicey chicken wings, they gave me spicey ones. Then I ordered a cookie, which they left out completely. The only thing they got right was my milkshake that I ordered. How is this place allowed to keep serving food to the public? Terrible service. What's the point of having a kiosk if they can't even follow the instructions from that? Won't be going back to this location, ever. Too bad. It was good once, not anymore. Eat at a local restaurant instead, it's now cheaper to do that anyway.

Tried to sell me a value meal for $18+ while it was advertised as $8 for 2 singles hamburgers fries and coke. Hamburger wasn't hot.

Be sure to check your order before leaving. Mine has been wrong at least 50% of the time. I even use the app to place my order to eliminate an input error, yet still either have missing items or completely wrong items.

I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I had at your location about a month ago. I came through the drive-through with friends, planning to place three separate orders. Instead of a real employee, we were greeted by an AI system that clearly didn’t work. It couldn’t understand what we wanted, claimed it was connecting us to a person—and then nothing. We waited. And waited.
After saying “hello” multiple times, someone finally came on the line—not to help, but to accuse us of “messing around.” Seriously? We were literally waiting for help because the AI failed, and your employee’s response was to treat us like we were the problem. That’s not just unprofessional—it’s insulting.
To make matters worse, the inside of the store was already closed, so we had no other way to place our order. Why is there no real person available to take orders when your dining room is closed? If you’re going to rely on AI, at least make sure it works—and if not, don’t treat paying customers like they’re wasting your time.
We were hungry, frustrated, and still ended up going through the line again just to get food. Honestly, the only thing worse than the AI was the attitude we got from your staff.
You need to fix this. Either get the tech working properly or put actual people on the job—and train them to talk to customers with basic respect

I had a good experience here. Food was ready for pickup on the stand when I arrived. Everything was hot, not sloppy, and didn’t look like it was hastily thrown together. Good food, and clean restaurant with lots of seating.

Decent place, food is as good as it gets being Wendy's, and the staff, though friendly, was mostly not there - I wonder if its because it was very warm that one fateful day and bees were hanging around the soft drink dispenser. I can't blame the drive-thru guy for that, though he seems friendly and served me well enough.
These people mix their soft drinks well, unlike the Naperville location, or adding more ingredients like that old lady who sneezed in my sodas in Des Plaines, or the racy comments I heard over the closed drive-thru window in the other location in Des Plaines.
Drifting off topic a bit here...clean place, lots of parking though in a bit of a busy street, and a bit far from the nearest highway, but I'll be coming back here.
