Great selection of dishes and very generous portions. Everything we tried was delicious. However, there is one nuance with the menu: it’s not always clear what each dish actually is or what it’s made of. We would recommend adding more detailed descriptions or photos, because, for example, the “soups” section turned out to have dishes that were more like stir-fried meals rather than actual soups.

I went to Xi’an Cuisine on the Monday right before Thanksgiving. A friend had told me their food was good, so I decided to give it a try. Since it was a weekday lunch, there was a moderate number of customers (not too empty and not too busy). The customers included young college students, professionals having lunch, and small families.
As soon as I sat down, a waitress asked what I wanted to drink, and then another waitress came by and asked the same question. Twice? Okay…
When I looked at the menu, I noticed they had both Western and Chinese options. I ordered the noodle with tomato and egg sauce for $13.00. I wanted it as a soup, so I asked for it “with soup, not dry.”
The food arrived about 8 to 10 minutes later in a very large bowl with a good portion size. The taste was ordinary. The noodles seemed hand-pulled, but there was no option for thick or thin noodles, and my waitress never asked or offered that choice. The soup was far too salty and not tasty at all.
I’ve definitely had better tomato and egg noodles elsewhere in the area. (If you want to know my recommendations, I’m happy to share.)
Overall, based on the service and the taste of the food, I would give it a 2.5/5. With inflation and everything being so expensive, I think the restaurant should treat every customer as an opportunity to keep their business. I’m a very good cook, and I tried this place because of a recommendation, but I felt it wasn’t worth it at all.

The food was great, whereas everything else was questionable. Atmosphere was okay, but ruined by the awful service my friends and I received. We were polite, quiet, and used our manners. The service failed to give quality attention and gave us bad looks, which I can only say is based on appearances. Yes we were clean and well groomed imo. It was clear we were being singled out. Very long wait times in between everything, but only with us. It was the four of us, and only a few other tables. That was it. Close minded people.

Went with Family for Dinner tonight. Xi’an Cuisine Fine Chinese Restaurant at Naperville, Illinois is Chinese paradise. Adequate seating, very good ambiance, Good hospitality, Very good service. Foods Awesome. Ordered Lamb w. Pure Cumin,Chicken in Hunan Style, Shrimp Dumplings,Veggie Hibachi Fried Rice,Chicken Hibachi Noodles,Passionfruit Green Tea. All cuisines were very good but Chicken in Hunan Style excellent. Enjoyed the Dinner. Enjoyed the snowfall after Dinner which was season’s first Snowfall day at Naperville. Must visit with Family. Enjoy.

I hate to write a bad review, especially since I think Xi'an has some pretty tasty food.
My bad review is because of my most recent order. This is the second time i've ordered take out with them and they completely forget to include sweet and sour sauce with the sweet and sour chicken we ordered....again. Additionally, their eggrolls are not as good as ones we can get from elsewhere. I will not be purchasing from this location again because of the repeated mess-up of an extremely simple order.

In addition to the Xi'an cuisine, this place also has some very authentic Sichuan dishes.

I love the food so much, and there are so many different options on the menu. Also I love how big the portions of food are because it's perfect for when you're with family and the prices are great for the amount of food you get. The staff and waiters are nice and the decor is on point. I love how fancy and divine the place is, its very traditional and beautiful. You have to go here😍😍😍

You already know it's a good one the moment you arrive since all the customers are Asian (if not specifically Chinese) except for one table. Lol. Definitely make a reservation for busy hours especially on the weekends. The food was so good! Prepare yourself for the level of spice if you're not used to it.

This restaurant serves many unusual dishes. The emphasis is on spicy dishes, but there are enough tame selections if you aren't into that. Ask the dishes we ordered were delicious. Service was good. The atmosphere was nothing special, but quiet enough to enjoy conversation over our meal.
