Xi’an Cuisine

One of the new Chinese restaurants I like a lot and want to go again. Good flavor with their dishes, generous portions, and good effort in service.

Lots of people waited to get seats at 6, 7 pm on Saturday. Once seated, service was pretty fast.

I really like this restaurant. Every time I’m here. I enjoy the food and environment and the people here.

Food was great. We did takeout and it was packed and ready on time. One concern is floor at waiting area was greasy and slippery, raising concerns for safety and cleanliness around rest of restaurant. Would visit again (but only for takeout)

Delicious! Will come back for authentic Xi'an food that you can't find in other Chinese restaurants.

Very delicious authentic food. The noodle dishes were great! House made noodles.

Been looking for a good Chinese place. This is it. They offer more traditional cuisine as well the American Chinese options. So good!

My fav restaurant in Naperville for chinese cuisine. Order any dish from their menu, you will love it. The staffs make you feel at home, assists a lot regarding each dish. They serve tea on the house. Moderately clean restaurant. Big group of people was there from office. Lot of options in the menu. Highly recommened.

Restaurant is clean, staff trained, food is best I had anywhere near Naperville. I am fairly confident the crab Rangoon were home made along with the spring rolls. Quality. Highly recommend.

This place is always great, especially if you love spicy. Their main menu and specials are really good, but they also have lunch specials if you’re looking for some more standard American Chinese food.

Their mapo tofu fish is always a highlight!

The waiting list is a shame, since there aren't that many seats. When someone made a reservation, they told us we would have to wait for a long time😑. Or we can squeeze in and sit somewhere else. Just let us wait for half an hour. In the end, I had to leave. How about you arrange for your number to be called?

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food, look elsewhere.

The Har gow is not right. The texture of the inside was completely off.

Moving on to Sichuan- the Kung Pao chicken, which should have been stir fried, was coated in soggy breading. It was not prepared correctly and wasn’t remotely spicy.

Very disappointing for someone who grew up in a Cantonese family.

This was my first time ordering takeout from here, and while the food tasted great, I was disappointed by a couple of things that will likely make this my last time ordering from this place. First, they still use black plastic containers, despite concerns about the potential carcinogenic effects of these materials. This felt like a major oversight given the growing awareness around safer, more eco-friendly packaging.

Additionally, I requested utensils when I placed my order, but when I received my bag, they were missing. Small details like this make a big difference, especially when you're relying on takeout for a convenient meal.

It’s unfortunate because the food was good, but these issues with packaging and missing utensils leave me hesitant to return.

We have been coming to this place many times in the past either dine in or carry out. The most recent visit for a quick lunch was totally awful. The beef in the appetizer was dry so it must be in the fridge for a couple days already. The noodles of the main dish apparently were cooked previously so it’s also dry on the outside and cold in the middle. Horrible experience! The quality has gone down the drain completely. Will not go back again.
