Dropped in after some site seeing for a quick bite, only to find a local treasure. Talk about being transported by flavors to my grandma Barbara's kitchen. The owners were kind enough to share their journey with me and their hope to bring that exact nostalgic feeling to each bite of their delicious menu. The pulled pork, with potato salad was amazing!!! The sugar hardened cranberry on the raspberry swirl cheese cake was too good if such exists! Their craft teas in twist cap glass bottles are charming. The family gnoshed on some ham and cheese panini and tuna salad. You get that touch of love in every bite!!!!!Thank you for revitalizing this eatery and sharing a bit of your story.Happy Holidays!!!!Wheelchair accessibility: If I'd had my mobility device, it would have worked well. I had a cane at this visit. No problems!

Really solid food. Quiche is great. Biscuits and gravy are homemade and authentic - really good! Pancakes just OK … a little dry. Service is great. Pies great!

Worse than gas station food. Got a piece of pie, and she left the bottom crust in the pan so I got some berries with a top crust. Hot dog want warm all the way through. Table next to us left their tacos with one bite taken out

This place was awful. We went the week after the pageant. Food was expensive! $10 for just the burger that was worse quality then McDonald’s, chili dog was cold, and there wasn’t a lot of food options or baked goods to choose from. $50 (4 people) for food that was like eating in a poor elementary lunch cafeteria. We ordered two burgers, one pork sandwich (also cold), one chili dog, one slice of cheesecake and waters.Their Fb page was very misleading, and no one was around for service or to give us our whole order in a timely matter. I would suggest driving to Hamilton and eating there instead.I don’t usually complain, but this was by far the worst food I’ve ever had in Nauvoo.

Ate breakfast and lunch here during the first week of August 2022. Breakfast included pancakes, tater tots, a *very* large cinnamon roll and the ham and cheese quiche. You get 3 large, fluffy pancakes - plenty for my boys. The cinnamon roll is $7.00 and my son said it was worth ebery penny. The ham and cheese quiche was absolutely delicious best I have ever had!!!For lunch we had hamburgers (cheese, jalepeno and just plain), and a grilled cheese (which is big enough for an adult), with tater tots and fresh coleslaw. Everything was good!Highly recommend.

Had a burger that was equivalent to my own cooking, which is only minimally satisfactory. Bread pudding also okay, but not amazing. My friend had the chicken salad croissant and was pleased. I don't know if there are better options as the town is small, but I would try another place next time.

The sausage gravy is just like grandma used to make. You can tell the burgers are all ground beef with no fillers and topped with your choice of fresh veggies. The pulled pork is a huge hit with my kids. BEST desserts in the area!!

Our experience was summed up by 2 different signs at this restaurant. The first is as you drive in, which states "Best Burger". The second inside is a sign that reads "Fresh 100% ground beef".The first is a blatant lie, as this burger was in the 20% percentile for burgers I have consumed and other burger joints we passed on the way to this one would be hard pressed to produce a burger of such low quality. The second is deadly accurate, that the patty is 100% beef, and that's the end of the ingredients list. No seasoning, no spices, nothing else. Questionably fresh ground beef in a circular shape, heated until brown. The lettuce was wilted, the bacon was paper thin and clearly from a frozen package. The burger is presented alone on a papered basket.2 stars because the cheese cake was in the 70% percentile for me.

Bread pudding was great. Snickerdoodles were okay. Haven't tried their hot food but it looks good.

Pretty good little place. Everything we tried was pretty good. And decently priced. We'd come back here again for sure.

Great food! The biscuit and gravy breakfast is very good and priced well. We liked the pulled pork and the jalapeño burger with pepper jack cheese and guacamole. Kids meals were great and tasty too! Cute restaurant with good service!

Everything was absolutely delicious, clean ,and tidy. A good home cooked meal and the best baked goods you'll ever have.

Not super impressed. More expensive than other options in Nauvoo, although I'm not sure why. Mediocre food. Strange decor. Not air conditioned.

There aren't many places to eat in Nauvoo right now so we ate here twice. Each thing I ordered was wonderful and so are the desserts!

We were looking for some dinner around Nauvoo, and found a nice little restaurant called the "Nauvoo Cafe & Sweet Shoppe". We decided to give it a try! At first, I thought it wasn't much. But once you look at the menu, you notice it's much more. I got a Bacon Cheeseburger with a locally made orange soda. The wait was pretty short, about 2-5 minutes. We then got our food and the first bite was just amazing! We then got some tatter tots to go along with our meal. 11/10 on the tots. 11/10 on the burger, 11/10 on the soda. If I could leave a 6 star review, I would. But for now I hope they satisfy more customers like me! (Review written by my 13-yr old son )
