Nehemiah’s has quickly become our family favorite and our go to for date nights. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel so welcomed. Everyone is genuinely kind and attentive, which makes such a difference.

We had a great first experience at Nehemiah‘s tonight! We had a large group and tried about every appetizer and entrée on the menu. Everything was fantastic. Great service as well. We will definitely be back again!

Nehemiah's Steakhouse is a nice place in a small town, offering a prime, gourmet dining experience. The restaurant is a beautifully restored building with an incredible interior design that is quiet and romantic, a stark contrast to typical restaurants in Central Illinois. The atmosphere, service, and food all receive great attention to detail. The steaks are tender and perfectly cooked, with the prime filet described as to die for. Sides dishes are given just as much attention, with the mashed potatoes stealing the show and the ricotta gnocchi being a favorite. The A5 wagyu appetizer with caviar and crème fraîche is next level. Desserts are impressive, including an outstanding house made cheesecake. The French dip sandwich with onion rings is good, with very good onion rings. The iced tea is brewed light. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, making guests feel welcomed. Nehemiah's has quickly become a family favorite and a go-to for date nights.
