Looks like The Bullpen is a popular place with everyone in the area. It was my first time there. They were busy for a weekday lunch, and the ladies working there were handling it like pros. Has a cool old bar feel but also great food. Had a really good French dip and Caesar salad!
Food was good. The Aunt Bonnie spinach salad was delicious. I had the philly cheese steak sandwich and I liked it. Seems hard to find a decent one around these areas. Catfish on Fridays was pretty good too.

Angie, I have been going to the bullpen for quit of few years. Never once did I have an experience you are describing. We have been there when they have been very busy, never a problem!! I can’t imagine any waitress saying she needs a break and hope you’re not eating. I have never heard any waitress complaining about being busy or tired. They are a bunch of friendly hard working women. Their service is impeccable and so is the food!!
