No showers and the water at our site didn't work. Nobody there to report it to. The dock, restaurant, bar are no longer there.
Would have more to review, but unfortunately, we arrived to stay the place was flooded

We started camping here this year and are now on our fourth trip back. There isn't a bad spot in the place, it's quiet and right in the river. You can watch boats and kayaks float down the river. This might be my new favorite campground
Nice RV campground. The tent or rustic campsites were not close to flat. The bock house was very far away. We told the host that it wasn’t suitable for us. She said we could stay on one of the trailer sites. There were quite a few.
Safety: Quite safe
Walkability: Easy hike around the place
Noteworthy details: Good

Nice relaxing place to Stay. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you are a boater or a fisherman or someone that just wants to sit next to the river and relax. Some sites might be a little tight for bigger rigs. I'm pulling a 35 ft fifth wheel with a F350 crew cab, 8 foot bed. I fit just fine!April 12, 2024

Camp sites too close together. Lots of noise from boats launching from the ramp and adjacent highway near the campground . Has full hookups but little else aside from a pavilion. No picnic tables

This small town camping experience was amazing! Picturesque views of the Kaskaskia River! Brand new pavilion with new picnic tables, new on-site bathrooms, fresh rock, newly planted trees, FULL hook up, and 50 amp service! It was an amazing weekend! Take a half mile walk on the levee and don't forget your camera! On the other side of the levee is the town park for the kids with baseball diamonds, a basketball court, swings, sandbox, slides, and much more! Go eat at the Bullpen, Village Pizza, and Machete's. They ALL have amazing food! Dollar General is also in the town. Plan your next camping trip here!

Stayed there in September while working a shutdown. Beautiful little spot right along the river and next to the boat launch. Absolutely enjoyed the stay, the price was great and it was a pleasure talking to the owners when we needed something. Next time I'm in town I will be staying there again.

Very functional park. Not many amenities besides full hook ups! If you have a bigger rig you will need empty spaces to pull through. This is ran by the city so the electric works properly and it is well maintained.
It's dead, marina with no boats, restraint is closed I'm sure, bait shop wasn't open. Very sad considering 15 years ago it was a party hot spot!Rooms: What hotel?Nearby activities: Water!!! And ramp.Noteworthy details: There's nothing there anymore

It's a pretty place right on the river. The utilities are fine. But the turns are WAY too tight. Not big rig friendly at all because of that, even though the spots are big. Huge rocks making the right turns so you have to do a bunch of back and forth to squeeze through. No office or anywhere to check in, ask questions, or get help.

It does have 50 amp, water, and Septic hook up. But that is it, no picnic tables or grills. We didn’t know where to go to check in not a sole around. They need a sign we didn’t know where to go.

There's just a boat ramp, which was ok. But everything else is closed and deserted.
Great place to launch your boat. Not sure about the floating bar. It has potential but it's kind of a hidden gem.
