We ordered an 18 inch pizza half pepperoni and half cheese. It was the best pizza I've had in a very long time. Each piece had so much cheese when you picked it up it looked like something from TV. Absolutely amazing!

Cozy atmosphere, Good food, amazing Parmesan breadsticks!!!! Be careful of the mushroom ravioli in already sauce. Delicious but you eat more than two and you'll be through. It's extremely rich. Eat too much and your tummy will hate you. Fantastic people and good all around. !!

1st time there and food was amazing, I had the lunch special which came with house salad and a 7" pizza, one topping, salad was fresh and great and pizza was amazing !! If you are near one of their locations stop in and try them out

Joes is a hometown favorite in Newton Illinois.The pizza I got was great, I'll be back soon without a doubt.A good side pizza with one or two toppings will cost you $20 or less.

This review is not for the food. It's the way they run the restaurant. We were on our way back home, several hundred miles away. During our visit to this area, we tried twice to visit the restaurant, and they were closed during the hours they were supposed to be open. It was a couple of days after Christmas. The third time, on our way out of town, we were thrilled to see the OPEN sign on the door. We pulled up at 1:45. We headed toward the door, and we saw the CLOSED sign on the door, where it had just been switched from Open. It was swinging quite a bit like someone did it quickly, then moved out of the door view. I knocked on the door, and then I called them. No answer at either attempt. It looks like they saw us coming and changed the sign. We're so disappointed in the way this was done. If you close at 1:45, then post your hours as such. Truly, we were so disappointed. That was going to be "the cherry on top" of our trip in the way back home.

Over the years I've eaten at every Joe's pizza around, and the Newton location has been my favorite since it opened. The place is clean and well decorated. The wait staff is great. The food is top notch. While Joe's is known for its pizza, don't disregard the sandwiches! Do yourself a favor and get a sausage hoagie with peppers and onions. Thanks for all the great food over the years!

This Italian restaurant is a gem in the small town of Newton, IL. I took my sister there every day while visiting her in the summer of 2023. Every meal we had was excellent. It was a nice surprise to find a nice restaurant like this, without having to be in Denver or in Southwest Florida where I live. Will definitely be back to eat there. Very nice owners and staff. Great atmosphere ?

Excellent food with generous it portions of pasta. Very pleasant efficient staff. Joe's has that country friendly atmosphere. Clean and you have enough room when seated. We had eight people and we were not squished like many restaurants. Prices are reasonable and best part... delish food. We had chicken parmigiana, pizza, maccheroni, and Alfredo pasta. It has been there almost 100 yrs.
