Hole in the wall spot in the mall that has great, tasty food! We got their japchae and bulgogi, which were both fresh and delicious. The ladies who worked there were also so kind and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Yum yum yum! As a Korean, this may be the best and most fresh kimbap I've ever had outside of my own home. K-Mom is a perfect name because it feels like Korean moms cooking great homemade food for you. They are super sweet, generous portions, and with really good flavors! Spot on for homecooked meals! I lost my mom to cancer in 2013 and this is the first time I feel like I'm eating homecooked from mom. The most unfortunate thing about this restaurant is its location in a dying mall. Do not skip this place because on the location its in. Park and make your way to the food court and enjoy some of the best Korean food in Chicago.

Side note: bibimbop is delicious, but it causes me massive head inflammation the next day. I tried squeezing most of the oil out of the vegetables and there was a lot soaking into the paper towels. I'm thinking that it is the type of oil ( soybean? Canola?) used here that is causing so much inflammation(?) I want to keep coming back but due to high inflammation, i can only eat the bibimbop here once in a while.. Or maybe it is the gochujujahng. At the glenview joongboo second floor food court, i don't get a lot of inflammation from the bibimbop over there
Great food court (fast) alternative to a regular korean restaurant! Food is 8.3 to 9.2 out of 10, which is surprisingly good 👍 for a food court! 😋 you have to get 2 entrees tho coz portion is a little smaller than average.
Gain scent beads : (for chemically sensitive 🥺 people) air quality in this part of the mall is *3.5/10* contaminated with Gain scent beads. ✨️ - possibly from the makeup store or nearby employees 🤔 and customers

Absolutely the best Korean comfort food in Chicago! The pork cutlet is amazing, and the demi glace sauce is made from scratch instead of using anything store bought. It tastes incredible and the portions are huge. The tteokbokki tastes just like what I used to have in South Korea.
I’ve also tried the jjolmyeon, kimbap, and fried chicken, and everything was delicious. I even ordered the pork cutlet and tteokbokki four days in a row and never got tired of it. I really hope this place stays open for a long time. 항상 친절하게 맞아주셔서 감사합니다 사장님❤️

I stopped by today on friends' recommendations—the food's delicious and staff super friendly. There was a big group ahead of us, so my order took a bit longer, but they explained upfront and provided excellent service. The kalguksu noodles tasted just like homemade: warm, hearty, and full of authentic flavor. Highly recommend for genuine Korean eats!

Hidden gem inside golf mill mall food court. Tried the kimbap and it was so fresh, delicious, and filling. Prices are great for the quantity of food. I cant wait to return and try other dishes!
