Coffeehouse in Uptown Normal

Everything here is vegetarian, with vegan options clearly labeled. The tofu scramble was more of a hash over potatoes, but it was really good! Plenty of seating. I do wish more of their baked goods were vegan since they clearly know how, and that's like the easiest thing to veganize. But overall it's a great low-key place with lots of options!

The most horrible service I’ve ever encountered. The workers don’t understand the concept of time and chat more than actually do work. A worker was even randomly singing meowing for no apparent reason. We waited for 40 minutes for a single burrito and ended up walking out because it took too long and we even asked prior how much longer and all they said was “i don’t know”. Absolutely ridiculous, I don’t know who leaves a bunch of teenage girls with no management to run a business.

One of my favorite places to go, out of campus. Everything is affordable, the staff always makes me feel welcome and they're so kind, the coffee is phenomenal. I spent only around $12 for a full meal and usually frequent here for an iced coffee.

It's so great to see a vegetarian establishment, like this, that has been thriving for years! Good food, very kind staff, overall good experience. We had breakfast there and everything was delicious. Tofu scramblers had a lovely southwest flavor. The vegan pancakes were huge and had a lovely cinnamon flavor... they also reheated very well. We also took home a vegan chocolate cupcake that was still super moist several hours later.

The food is amazing, healthy, and affordable. I haven’t had a bad experience yet with costumer service. I can’t stop coming back! I would highly recommend the Thai coffee!

Very pleased by the warm welcoming in this establishment. The coffee was amazingly good and so was the food ! We didn’t have many expectations as we were just driving through this cute little town but here we found vegetarian and vegan choices in a place were all kind of people and ages meet and work. I surely recommend this place ! Thank you ?

This was our first time visiting my kids and I however the experience was ok. Simply because we were unfamiliar with the establishment my son ordered a "Mexican Mocha" and we were not told about the drink nor was there a description of what the drink was. My son is also Autistic/ADHD so he discovered that it had red chili flakes in it once we had left as we just stopped in to grab coffee and go. The environment seemed really peaceful and there wasn't alot of ppl there which was nice again for a Saturday late afternoon which was nice. However again it would have been nice to be treated like we didn't know the drink menu and given just a little heads up in the event my son couldn't do spicy or maybe was allergic.

They let a dog in the kitchen. It was not a service dog. Service dogs aren't even allowed in restaurant kitchens. Food is okay and environment is good for studying and talking with friends. Service is also very good, they are always friendly.Edit on 05/08/2024: Hello, thank you for your reply! On Wednesday, April 24th, around 9-10am, a woman and her doodle mix went into the kitchen. I should have taken a picture and reported it then, however I was too shocked, my apologies.

Ordered a breakfast burrito and a mocha latte. The burrito lacked seasoning and had what was basically mushy rice. It came with a side of "salsa" which I'd describe as pureed tomatoes.The mocha latte didn't really taste of coffee. I don't even think it was a single shot of coffee much less a double.Service was pleasant but food/coffee won't have me coming back.

We need more inexpensive vegetarian options like this restaurant. Inexpensive, tasty, and nice staff.

Vegetarian options: I had a veg Frisco melt that came with fries. I believe the whole menu is vegetarian.
