My first time in the place as a parent of an ISU student. I heard good things from my daughter so I went to pick some calzones up and visit her. After walking in, nobody was around. I hit the doorbell and a woman came to the counter. I explained that I was new to the place and asked several questions about ordering and a lunchtime deal. The woman seemed very irritated by my questions and said they didn’t have a meal deal. I ordered 3 calzones and explained I wanted one bagged separately. Seemed to go in one ear and out the other. Also, while waiting for my order, I found the meal on the menu! When the food finally arrived it was bagged together. So I reminded her that I needed the one calzone separate. She said “ You can take it out of the bag because they are in separate boxes.” I explained why it needed to be separate because it wasn’t going to the same place. The woman threw 2 plastic bags on top of the order and told me to have a good day. Horrible customer service. No wonder it was empty at lunch time, 12:45. Maybe they can treat students like this but treating a new customer is inexcusable. Calzones were good, too bad………..,terrible experience.

Food was good. Service was prompt and polite. But it's a small place and drafty in the cold. Get your food to go.

The first restauraunt I ever ate at in Normal, so I might be biased when I say this, but its up there. Its a sharply unique hole-in-the-wall calzone shop with astounding portions and rich flavors. Expect to spend at least $15 or more in here, but id say its good value considering the mountain of pizza pocket you get will be hard to finish as a single meal unless you happen to have just been rescued from a deserted island.

Rang bell for service. No answer. Ordered on the computer screen. At end it asked how much I wanted to tip with a minimum of 15%. Couldn't change it. Left before anyone answered the bell for service. Went two doors down and had a great pizza, good service, and tipped 30%.

The calzones are good and one of mine and my brother's favorite places while in college but there's clearly something wrong with the culture there. We visited because I thought it would be a fun place to bring my mom and sister to try and we live in different parts of the state. So we decided to not meet on christmas and meet in Bloomington on New Year's Day and exchange our gifts. Am I shocked at the attitudes of college kids? not really. But clearly this place is run horribly. The carbonation in the soda machine is broken and youre knowingly still selling it? our drinks were flat and we paid for that. I suspect the kids are underpaid and overworked while living in overpriced apartments and spending tons of money on books they'll only need to read half of and going further into debt as their future income potential dwindles. It's clear in my opinion the owners hate college kids and imposes strict guidelines to not give away any ranch or sauce or else risk getting a write up or something. I've never seen a more on edge staff. so all in all we wont be back except to inquire if things are better. And since disposable income is dwindling because of greedy business people that want to exploit labor to the fullest, there are better owners to support right now in our communities. The calzones are decent for the memories that went with them back then.
We had delivery so atmosphere is dont know. Driver was polite and it was quick delivery

Pretty amazing place. Food is awesome, the selection is also broad enough to have something for everyone. The option to build your own is also a great choice.

College town fun and good food with creative twists. And it’s affordable and good portions! I never ate at a place that specializes in Calzones. If you buy a drink and a zone you get a free side. The atmosphere was casual and music in the background that was not too loud. The ceiling fan was kind of cold for winter since it was 36 degrees F outside so inside was ok but the fan made it chilly so I kept my winter coat on while eating. Love the cane sugar soda and unlimited fountain drinks for $2.50 a pop. This place opens til 1am today (Sunday 11/16/25) so it’s perfect for late night studying or hanging out w friends late. It’s one of the Only places open for food in town so late. Thank you! It’s a Great service. Vegan cheese $1 upcharge and impossible burger meat calzone for only $10.50. Thank you for caring about vegetarian and vegan options.
