The first restauraunt I ever ate at in Normal, so I might be biased when I say this, but its up there. Its a sharply unique hole-in-the-wall calzone shop with astounding portions and rich flavors. Expect to spend at least $15 or more in here, but id say its good value considering the mountain of pizza pocket you get will be hard to finish as a single meal unless you happen to have just been rescued from a deserted island.
College town fun and good food with creative twists. And it’s affordable and good portions! I never ate at a place that specializes in Calzones. If you buy a drink and a zone you get a free side. The atmosphere was casual and music in the background that was not too loud. The ceiling fan was kind of cold for winter since it was 36 degrees F outside so inside was ok but the fan made it chilly so I kept my winter coat on while eating. Love the cane sugar soda and unlimited fountain...
Whoever made my calzones made them PERFECT. Our garlic parm and garlic cheddar crusts were delectably crispy and golden. Best calzones ever!! And the girl who helped me was so sweet!
