Food is amazing! The menu has great options that are twists on classic breakfast meals. I try something new every time I go here, and have not been disappointed. Staff are always super friendly as well. My favorite breakfast spot in central Illinois.

Second time eating here while staying overnight in Bloomington. Had to come back after the excellent experience last trip through. Food is excellent! Fresh and creative takes on the old standards. Customer service is very noticeably Wonderful. Made me feel good for the entire day; from my excellent server, to the host, to the others on the team that checked my coffee with a smile or helped clear clutter on table. Bravo, Y’all!! Will be back on next trip through town again!!

Fort Jesse Cafe in Normal, IL, is a beloved brunch spot known for its excellent service, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food. The cafe offers a variety of popular dishes such as Shrimp and Grits, Eggs Benedict, and Cornmeal Pancakes. Customers rave about the friendly service and the "sit around your kitchen table" vibe that makes repeat visitors feel like family. The cafe is praised for its unique and flavorful dishes, like the seasonal corned beef skillet and Irish crème cold brew. Reservations are recommended due to its popularity and limited seating space.

Amazing food and outstanding service despite them being packed. Definitely more than a "Normal" cafe.

Tried Fort Jesse Cafe this morning. It was awesome from the time the young man greeted and seated us until we paid our check and left. The choices on the menu are varied. The wait staff are exceptional. I ordered the Waffle; it came with either bacon or sausage, and eggs. I really did not want eggs and our server gave me options for fresh fruit, hash browns, etc. And, when the waffles were delivered, they were a culinary delight from their arrangement on the plate to their taste and the homemade blackberry jam. Bacon was crisp--just like I asked for. This may have been our first trip to this hidden gem, but it will not be our last.

I had the county fried steak.. wow. Fantastic. Perfect, not too greasy or over breaded. Family enjoyed their meals as well.. Fresh cinnamon roll awfully good too. Get reservations!

Noisy, limited seating for large groups, but an atypical central Illinois brunch menu that surely delivers and delights! Expect $20 pp

So darn good! Our server was Tasha. She was professional and pleasant. Asked if my mother who’s 89 would like a half order of French toast instead of the full order, which was perfect for her. She loved the French toast and I loved my Benedict Chicken and Waffles. What a wonderful experience. Great value! Definitely be back.

Yummy! We had the brunch burger and turkey blueberry panini. Along with the apple lemonade. Everything was delicious. Server was pleasant and attentive. Loved the chef was milling-around, even cleared our table. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely stopped again. Thanks for the great experience.

Went in at 10:04am requesting a two top. Three open little two tops. Said it's a 40 min wait because they have someone that has a 10am reservation and they were not even there yet. The three two top tables were not even next to each other. Makes no sense. No one in line and it's a 40 min wait for two.
