My daughter begged me to take her to Kochi for her traditional sushi dinner. She saw it on Tiktok and read good reviews on Google. She and her friend ordered on the all you can eat menu while I ordered shrimp and noodles. The noodles came to the table with chicken and were pretty bland. I used soy sauce and yumyum sauce(?) to make it more palatable. The kids ordered 4 separate rolls and really only enjoyed one of them. They ordered another round in the hopes that they would find one they liked better. I paid the extra for what they couldn't get down and decided we wouldn't be back. It was no wonder there were only 3 other tables seatednthe eintire time we were there. And the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, the soft surfaces were all stained, especially the curtains which looked to have not been laundered in some time and drapped inches away fron the table. Definitely not worth the (hour) drive or the $$.

Sushi was amazing and fresh, but the service was somewhat confusing at first.

Very good food felt a little repetitive though. But the food was worth the money and my time. Service was good but it was also a slow night.

Great food. Made fresh. Family owned.
Service can be a little slow if busy but they are very friendly. But it's ok. Clean and a nice environment.

The best sushi in town! Yes, they're a bit pricey, but to eat all you want and leave fully satisfied in a place like Bloomington is amazing. Highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: Though limited, there are plenty of vegetarian options to leave satisfied.

The customer service is horrible, They have an under age girl asking to me see my id and then never brought my wine, they didn’t come back and ask if we needed anything.. it was just an overall bad experience

We were pleased with Kochi, surprised it's not higher rated! It's all you can eat for a set price, but don't over-order because they will charge extra for uneaten food.
With what we ordered (which we ate all of, yay!) the all-you-can-eat price ended up being almost identical to what "a la carte" would have been, since we ordered some of the less-expensive simple sushi rolls. But it still felt like fair pricing for a lot of food! The sushi was great, especially the specialty rolls (the Godzilla was my favorite).
