First time here. Large space with plenty of seating. We were a party of 3 around 5pm Saturday. It was busy...so the volume was high...a bit hard to talk at our table and there was quite a bit of movement around us all the time. Bathrooms were clean.
Service was timely and friendly. Food was quick and hot. Pico was great. Cheese dip was good! Our dinners were very good. Large portions. My margarita was very good. Highly recommend.

Just got carry out. Half the portion compared to what it used to be. We used to like this place. Food was so bad I doubt if the raccoon will dig it out of the garbage.

Today's meal was very good: El Hefe and chiles Rellenos and a banquette of desserts. Atmosphere homey as usual. My sister and her friends celebrating friendship and birthdays was a joy :)

The food was the worst Mexican food Ive ever had. Was there Christmas Eve because it was open and portillos was closed. My food was burnt, tasteless, and my chilies rellenos tasted like raw fish. The place looked dirty and not sanitary as well.
I ordered their fried ice cream, And instead of putting the ice cream in a fried tortilla shell bowl, they just put a blob of ice cream in the togo tray and for the replacement of the shell they put CEREAL. Frosted Flakes cereal, I’ve been eating fried ice cream my whole life and I can tell the difference between fried tortilla and Frosted Flakes. It’s not even broken up tortilla bits it’s straight up cereal. Will be contacting management about this

My vegetarian option A was NOT good. My meal was cold. I've had a better bean burrito from Taco Johns. The cheese enchilada was also small and cold. The lettuce was mostly brown and the guac looked like they made it yesterday. I will not be ordering from them anytime soon. It is so bad I am not finishing my meal. Very disappointing. Oh yeah they left out the tostada. Missing.

Was a staple for me when I attended IWU over 15 years ago. Came back today after visiting the campus with my kid brother and the food was comparable in quality and taste. This is so good and so reasonably priced. If I'm ever in Normal without dinner plans, they will be Los Potrillos.

Ordered online, it was delayed by about 10 minutes, WELL WORTH IT. I had a special order so it wouldn’t get soggy on the way home and not only did they do it as asked, they gave me extra food in place of the food I had requested to not have in the order. Keep it up and will definitely order from here again. Phenomenal 👏
