We’ve eaten in at the restaurant several times the pizza, cocktails, and service are always fantastic. Tonight we decided to carry out for a quick dinner, and switched it up and ordered the focaccia sandwiches… my goodness they were amazing. You really can’t go wrong with anything off the Pizza Payaa menu!

Truly the best pizza in Blono! This small, modern joint features wings, sandwiches and pizzas, all of which are well-prepared and tasty. Their double-fried wings were a hit, and the pizza was not stuffy or too filling. Overall, very good food, a must go when visiting this area!

I ordered the honey badger pizza. It is a Detroit style pizza similar to Jets. But you can't see but you can taste the honey they added to the other ingredients. Well worth to trip to the place.

I was new in town, sitting at the edge of the bar with my earphones in, just trying to enjoy a meal and some drinks. I had a beer while waiting for my food, finished it with my meal, and then ordered a few cocktails. Four drinks total over about 1.5 hours. I wasn’t causing any scene.

The bartender told me I’d had “too many drinks,” walked away mid conversation, and then raised her voice at me when I asked for my bill, absurdly claiming that me telling her that her point is irrelevant since i wasn’t bothering anyone somehow “proved her point.” I was calm, polite, and minding my own business the entire time.

I paid and left fearing she would cause more of a scene further embarrassing me in my new town. Childish, passive aggressive service at its finest. Save your time, money, and dignity.

One of my favorite restaurants in Bloomington! Amazing vegetarian and even vegan options. I've eaten here many times and the food is always consistently 5/5.

Probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. There are several allergies that I have to avoid and they were very knowledgeable and accommodating for me. I always appreciate that. And to top it off, the food was excellent! I ordered the Chipotle Barbecue Cauliflower and the Hot Honey (no bacon) Brussel sprouts 🌱 (sorry I had already eaten majority of it)

Great as always! (Only been 3 times when we visit)Got right in with out a reservation and quick service!
Enjoyed a really good Wedge salad and several pizzas! 2 regular crust and a gluten free!
One reason I love this place is the staff is well versed on the GF options and that the GF crust is amazing...actually light and fluffy!
This time I had the sausage Fun Guy pizza...

Our server, Eva, was phenomenal…friendly, conversational, efficient, attentive… and always smiling!
We even had a quick convo about our dogs, which is always fun for dog lovers! 😉😉

Eva was not afraid to recommend her faves on the menu. And our pick of the hot honey pepperoni pizza was pure perfection!
The crust with the crunchy edges, the flavorful cheese, the hot honey wasn’t too spicy and the pepperoni had just the right amount of spice as well. The ranch for dipping was definitely home made, and next time we will add hot honey dipping sauce too.

Thank you for great food, and the kindest server ever! Thanks Eva! We will see you again for sure!

Pizza was delicious! Somewhat overpriced but I feel like it would be worth it for the atmosphere if I was here at the right time. Service was just okay - they weren’t that busy but our server was very slow.

Interesting concept at Pizza Payaa in Bloomington-Normal. The pizza felt more Detroit-style, roughly a 6x11 or 6x12 size. A bit pricey for what it was, and they seemed short-staffed, but the family had a great time overall.

Wow! The pizza is, well, I guess it is this, yes, another knock out for the Blono food scene despite, yeah, read on! This is not pizza. It is a thick boy of toast lightly dusted with ingredients. The flavors are trying their best but this would confuse aliens coming from any mainstream chain. Surprisingly the sandwich my friend got was the best thing we tried alongside my Christmas ale by 3 Floyd's. It's a sublime spot. Uptown can be proud of this urban bar offering plenty of space. We had excellent staff, quick service, were comfortable, enjoyed the free Sunday street parking too. But yes, this is not pizza. The sauces are painted over the dough with restraint. Protein and toppings are meager. The fig and the pig offered exquisite savory and sweet and refined me of the proper amount of toppings it should have instead of the budget fix. My crab rangoon pizza made a strong case for mashing three cuisines together while doing neither of them well. Again, yes try it! But it is not pizza. I was confused with the prices as well. Ended up north of forty bucks for my crab pie and the beer. Quite a fat load considering I didn't need a box. Flingers came to mind: still crowned king of actual pizza and crafted values. But yes, try this place anyway!
