New post So we came for breakfast again. But we had 5 of us. There was another old guy group there already. We all enjoyed our orders. I went big and got the steak and eggs. Got pictures of all our meals. Only negative I heard was the Ice Tea. We sat and talked it was peaceful. Old post Had breakfast. Place was empty at 8:30 am few more people came in after we got there. Place could use a good detail cleaning. Food wasn't bad. Server was attentive. Will remain on our list for breakfast

After a long and stressful day/night, breakfast was needed. The staff are very friendly and Jeanette was absolutely wonderful! Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

We were so disappointed this morning. We had to wait forever on the food to come out and when it came, it was brought out one item at a time. The child’s meal didn’t come at all and we had to ask at least twice. No toast was brought with our orders, and of course the food was cold.

This is a classic diner spot I can slide to for breakfast! The staff is friendly, food comes out quick and hot. I get the Greek skillet! If you have 20 bucks make it a date.

I've been here before, though it has been a while (okay, like 15 yrs) so I knew what I was getting into: very low-key greasy spoon diner with fair prices. But I have to say - I was let down this time. We came for breakfast at like 10am midweek, so it wasn't busy. The server (who was also the host) brought our drinks right away. Then he came back to get our order and I asked a question about them menu, and he answered it and then walked away. (Uhhhh...hello? Can we order? No. Not for another several minutes - not sure why.) We didn't wait long for our food to come out - I am pretty sure the cook was the runner who delivered it to our table. The only reason I got the waiter to come back was that I practically grabbed him as he walked by. I needed something that wasn't at the table. We had been long done eating by the time the server brought our check and he didn't pre-bus the table (nbd but as a former server, and seeing that he wasn't busy, I was surprised). The food was fine; it was unremarkable. I ate half of my crepes but they weren't quite good enough to get a box to bring the other half home (and I would have been there for a half hour waiting for the server to bring a to-go box at the rate things were moving). My husband said his was "fine." His was a basic breakfast plate. The menu is big, is varied, and is reasonably priced. Really, in the end, it was the service that became our biggest disappointment. It was pretty clear the server had never been trained to wait tables (or he didn't care, but I really think it was lack of training). I suspect he was the cook's son (which makes me think she's the owner given the food truck parked outside). I got good vibes from her and kind of wished she had waited on us because I'd be writing a different story of our experience here. We've been doing a tour of Blo/No breakfast places to make our own. Now we can say we tried this one; it will not be the place for us. I can't say I don't recommend it - it's a greasy spoon. It is what it is.

Good was good but service was very slow. Looked like only a couple of people working on a regular Wednesday morning. It appeared there were only 3 tables full at the time. Maybe 12-15 customers.

Small but mighty! Best Chocolate chip waffle in town! I had chocolate in every bite! Other places give you a few chocolate chips, but not here! If you ask for chocolate chips you want them and today I got them! Thank you!! Can't wait to come back. Side note you might want to call ahead for a seat. We didn't have to wait but maybe 2 minutes so not an issue.

Had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Chuey recently and had to try his restaurant, (Uncle) Tom’s Pancake House. It’s tucked in right in front of the Super 8. The breakfast was a great home cooked meal. I chose biscuits and gravy because their gravy is homemade not out of a can. My husband had his usual eggs, bacon & hashbrowns. He really enjoyed his as well. If you haven’t discovered this family owned gem by now, please give them a try!! Can’t wait to try food from Chueys Taco Truck as well. SHOP LOCAL OR STAY HOME!!! 😊
