The staff here is incredibly nice . Very friendly and welcoming . I was thrown off by how large the menu was and feared it couldn’t possibly be good . I was sort of correct. Majority of our “freshly prepped meal” was microwaved sadly. Fried food was great and was freshly fried. Appreciate the vegan options and for being in Norwood I’m grateful to have the options. I wish the Arabic food was made fresh daily. I was incredibly excited for that . It wasn’t . The rice was hard

I came here with my partner and we were so excited to see how big the vegan menu is! We ordered a salted caramel shake, cheesy burger, chiky mac fries and mjadara which came with a salad. All from the vegan menu, of course. We’re so used to every restaurant giving tiny portions but that was definitely not the case. We left with take out containers! That’s so rare and I’m happy to have more when I’m home. We have so many things we’re looking forward to eating in the near future. :)

Boon Cafe Fusion in Norridge (northwest side of Chicago) is a hidden gem! Whether you’re vegan or not, this place will blow you away. I had the Vegan Mac Burger with curly fries — absolutely amazing. The burger was flavorful, cheesy, and satisfying, and the fries were perfectly crisp.

The service was just as impressive — attentive, kind, and detail-oriented. They double-checked my order, made sure everything was right, and kept checking in to see if I needed anything.

This isn’t just great vegan food, it’s great food period. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious, creative flavors with top-notch service.

Had the Vegan Clucker and Fu-Fu Po-Boys and the Beyond Burger Fries and it was all AMAZING! The food here is so good! It was perfect after our flight. 10/10 we are coming back again.

I would ask them about their “milkshake”. Maybe it’s because I wasn’t being my super friendly self but the shake I received was more of a drink. Like no ice at all with the dairy-free milk and ice cream. But also it could be a hilarious play on the word milkshake because technically it is a milk blended. Just my thoughts. But falafel and vegan salad are 10/10. Vegan boon sauce suggested.

This is an undiscovered Gem!
The restaurant is extremely clean and bright. The owners checked several times to make sure we were pleased with our food. The menu has something for EVERYONE! All items are freshly prepared, so relax and give yourself time to enjoy the complimentary pitas and dips.
The waitstaff was diligent to show which items were vegan and also happy to answer any questions about the food and preparation. I will joyfully go there again.
Give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed!

I stopped in this afternoon, just for a small bite. Had the GF falafel and hummus. They provided me with tortilla chips as I can’t have the pita bread (gluten 🤷🏼‍♂️). It was great. Super tasty. The falafel was light and flavorful. Crispy on the outside. Hummus was very good. I will definitely be back for a full meal!
