“For the amount and quality of food you get for the price, this place is a steal. After traveling all day and parking at the Cumberland Blue Line, we came down the road to Bab Alsalam and I cannot rave enough how amazing this place is and will be coming back each and every single time we travel out of O'Hare. The food was not only delicious, but so much flavor punched into every bite. We ordered a Chicken Shawarma Entree and the Mixed Shawarma and both were exceptional in taste. Comes with salads, pita bread, and incredibly flavorful hummus. Attached is a photo of how much food they give you. It's massive. We had enough for leftovers the next day. HIGHLY recommend this place and I'm already trying to find a way to make my way back to Chicago just to eat at this place again lol. Thanks for the amazing service!”

I'll say this, if anyone ranks rexs lower than 4.8 they shouldn't be allowed back because they're insane and a risk to society. 🙃 My #1 spot in the Chicagoland area for anything Italian food. My personal favorite is the eggplant parm sandwich.”

“Best place to eat in Chicago! I started going there when the owner became a client of the company I was working for in the mid-90s, setting up cash registers in the restaurant he opened for his nephew. I no longer live in Chicago, but make it a point to stop there and speak with the owner every chance I get. Always great food and exceptional service! You may have to wait in line, though. Understandably, it's a very popular place!”

“I like this place. They sell Central Asian food, snacks, and drinks along with some deserts. I like bakery savory options and usually order pirozhki (like donut stuffed with mashed potato) and samsa (beef or chicken inside dough). Very delicious. Not many people in the mornings and afternoons, service is quick. I love one of the servers there, she is really nice, always welcomes people with a smile and seems very kind.”

“I went here with my boyfriend yesterday and my server did an amazing job. Her name was Sarah B, bowls are absolutely delicious, beautifully made, good amount of extra Nutella, the açaí is a nice frozen smoothly flavor, the smoothie I had was fresh and filled with the right quantity and nicely blended. I definitely recommend this place, it was enjoyable to eat and they know how to make their food!❤️”

“I just received my cookies from UPS and let me tell you, absolutely delicious. Really takes you back to the days of the kid in the cookie jar. I ordered my cookies on Tuesday and received them on Saturday. I’m in Arizona so Jeff made sure they were packed up extra tight and all the boxes were wrapped in bubble wrap. As long as the cookie store is around I will be ordering my Christmas cookies from them. The absolute best, thank you Jeff.”

At the last minute, I added some bagels to my dinner order to have for tomorrow, and when the order arrived, there was an apology note about the Everything bagels being not up to standard and overdone, and small gift with the order to make up for it. That is incredible customer service. (Oh, and my salad and soup — and even the extra toasty bagel I tried — were all fresh and delicious.)”
