Looking for a quality meal in a mall food court is challenging. Halsted Street Deli had friendly service. We sampled the chicken noodle soup and found it tasty but not overly salty. It tasted like they made it there not from a can. The panninis were satisfying. We ate it in the food court and they were crunchy, not sure if they would stay that way.

Overpriced super salty deli food, small portions compared to any real deli.I got the pastrami here. Thr full was like the size of a homemade sandwich your mom would make you as a kid.The pastrami was over saltedThe pasta salad side was super sour and overdressed and came in a little sauce cup thing.I paid $16 for the "meal". While this isnt much more than some delis, delis give you double the portion of everything.
