The cakes are pretty good, but there was a whole lot of attitude from the bakery staff that I was completely caught off guard by. Granted I did ask some silly questions like, “do you take special orders?” But I really didn’t expect the attitude that I received. Also something I bought was on sale and she tried to ring it up for the regular price. And she didn’t have the patience for me. There was no one waiting, and I understand that early morning bakery jobs are tough, but I was shopping for my own birthday and I was really excited to visit this place for the first time ever. Also, parking is a nightmare, you have to back up into traffic. BUT the pastries are delicious

We got what was supposed to be a “Tiramisu” cake for my birthday and it was not good at all. We got the cake from Gordon’s Food service, which Palermo sells to them frozen. I was really expecting to love this. I love Tiramisu and know what it’s supposed to taste like and this wasn’t tiramisu. It was more of a tres leche kind of cake. And it was cake not lady fingers with the cream in between. I was truly disappointed and none of my guests ate the cake so it was truly disheartening.

I walked in because I’ve always wanted to check it out I see it in the delivery apps but I was there in person, and man did everything look so good. Let me tell you the customer service here is impeccable, I had made a Toogootogo order but was in the area earlier than planned, so they helped me out with that. But since I was there in person I needed to get some goods, in comes Joselyn to help me, I get an iced coffee which she made to my delight so perfectly no bitterness was to be found, then came the cookies, she recommended so many I got a pound! She also recommended some pastries and I cannot say this enough, I am SO glad I finally went to Palermo Bakery, Joselyn was such a friendly and kind person to attend to the little kid in me. I signed up for their rewards program too so you best believe I’ll be going there regularly. Thank you Joselyn and everyone else that helped my visit!

We have never been this store and decided to give it a try. The store looks so nice and clean. When we first stepped in to the store, we could smell the delicious foods there. Staffs are so friendly and there are many choice for customers to choose. If you are around the area, highly recommend to stop by and give it a try.
