Terrible customer service. Interesting products but the people who work here need to be trained on how to deal with customers better. Very rash and insensitive. I was about to purchase something from here but decided not to when the salesperson gave me attitude for placing an item on a shelf while I was temporarily looking for another item. It's almost like they don't want to sell their stuff.

Wish I read the reviews before coming here. Everything you see other customers posting is true. Avoid this place. They don’t tell you the price, just start pouring tea into a container and ring you up with no rhyme or reason. The guy first tells me $80 and after I push back he drops the price to $40 but said it “depends on weight.” Not sure who the younger lady is that works there, maybe his daughter, but she looked embarrassed the whole time. Save your time and money, go somewhere else.

I’ve had their tea before, and I can genuinely say the quality is on another level. Their blends are pure, carefully sourced, and full of intention — especially the Blue Lotus, which is incredibly rare to find in its authentic form. Many fakes are circulating out there, but this company is the only one in Chicago I’ve found that carries the real thing.

Some people might react to the prices without understanding the quality, dedication, and process behind each tea. These are not your average store-bought teas — those are often filtered or diluted. These teas are crafted to target specific functions within your body, offering you the full, natural experience as it’s meant to be.

If the price feels outside your budget, that’s completely okay — you always have the choice to pass. But it’s important to recognize the value of what’s being offered before criticizing it. There’s no hate in saying this, only respect — for both the craft and for people’s awareness of their own decisions. Quality has a story, and this tea truly tells it.

Just to clarify — their teas are sold by weight, not volume. Each blend has its own natural density, so some bags may look fuller or lighter even if they weigh the same. That’s simply the nature of real, unprocessed herbs. You’re still getting the full amount you paid for, measured with care and accuracy. It’s all about quality over illusion.

I just wanna say the girl who is in training. Kayla was the most sweetest energetic person that I’ve saw like compared to the other employees. She actually talk to me and actually read me what was on there and I really appreciate that. I can definitely tell how much she is much sweeter. The other girl was very blunt and I kinda didn’t wanna go from service to service but that almost happened but she’s very wonderful and the place sounds amazing tease please shop here 100% recommend!!!!

The lady was very friendly, but I would expect to spend a pretty dime here. When I asked about price, she said the prices so fast that it was just too fast to compute. I really think she could have slowed down to really talk it over because people are leaving angry reviews over being price gouged. Some teas don't seem worth it because you can get them elsewhere for a better price.
However there are mixes here that you probably cannot get anywhere else. One whiff of the Guava Leaves Green Tea and I was hooked. I spent a lot of money, BUT she properly explained that I only need 2 tsp of leaves for my big 16 oz cup. I just made a cup and it was so good. I made a second cup reusing my leaves and it was still so good. It was expensive, but I think my giant bag will be lasting me for a very, very long time. (In hind sight, I wish I bought a smaller bag so that I could have just come back for a fresher bag later.)
She's incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. She wrote me instructions for both my tea and told me to call her if I had any questions. I really do hope that they last because it's so hard to find tea these days.

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this tea shop. When I asked about the prices, the staff refused to give me a clear answer and just kept saying, “don’t worry, we’ll take care of you.” That should have been a red flag. When it came time to pay, I was shocked to be charged $200 for less than a pound of chamomile tea and just a half-pound of another tea.

Not only is that outrageously overpriced, but the lack of transparency and refusal to provide clear pricing beforehand feels extremely dishonest. A reputable shop should be upfront about costs and allow customers to make informed choices, not hide prices and overcharge at the register.

This kind of business practice is misleading and unfair. There are plenty of other tea shops that are honest and value their customers—I will not be returning here and strongly recommend others take their business elsewhere.

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a scam. I asked the guy upfront how much the tea cost and he said “you look like you have money, I drive a Bentley when I go somewhere and buy something, I don’t ask for the price I just get it”. he starts putting tea in a canister and when he rang me up it was $200. I told him to put one back. Still paid $89 for one tea. I think they should be upfront and honest about their prices. This economy is already rough on people, it’s manipulative to do this.

Well I had passed at this Tea and Health center before a few times but what caught my attention was something I saw on Facebook about Sea Moss and Sea Grapes. I never seen other health stores sell such things. It is similar to another Nutrition stores that sell live probiatics but I ended up buying Irish Sea Moss to give it a try. It is very expensive with tax in a jar its $33.44 each. Do come for their Sea Moss. Its good for eating for health 2 teaspoons. Best to get the flavored natural fruit flavor ones with no sugar.

Really great little place with a lot of loose leaf teas and sets. I asked for the prices of the tins and the tea and ended up getting one of the smaller tins of Watermelon and Mint tea that was amazing. Going back for more.
