Sad to Say Goodbye — But It’s the Service
I’ve been a regular here for a long time because the pho is truly PHOnomenal. But unfortunately, poor service has made this my final visit.
Yesterday was the last straw. My son and I requested to sit in the cooler back area. After being seated, we were left unacknowledged while our server cleaned a nearby empty table. Not a greeting, not a “be right with you.” Moments later, we were asked to move—for another family—despite several open tables nearby. We were moved to an identical table, just a few feet away, which made absolutely no sense. At that point, I simply took my son and left. The absurdity of the request was enough.
And to the one European server girl who asked us to move—you know who you are. Your request was ridiculous.
Sadly, this experience reflects an ongoing pattern: lack of warmth, rushed service (checks hitting the table, even before you’re finished), and poor manners. Thank-yous go unreturned, smiles are rare, and on one occasion I was told to “get the to-go box myself,” only to be told not to the next time.
To be fair, the cooks in the back are always kind and welcoming, and one server—energetic, respectful, and consistently excellent—stands out and deserves recognition.
I hope this place continues to thrive because the food is top-tier. I just wish the service matched it.

This was our second time dining at Viet Taste, and once again, the food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I came on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was packed — a clear sign that it’s a local favorite. We were lucky to grab a small table near the entrance, but it wasn’t the most comfortable. The sun was shining directly through the front window, making it hot and uncomfortable, especially on a warm day. To add to that, the water served was room temperature, which didn’t help cool us down.
We ordered pho, bánh mì, bún vermicelli, and spring rolls — and every single dish was spot-on. The pho had a rich, flavorful broth, the bánh mì was perfectly crisp and savory, the bún vermicelli was light, fresh, and well-balanced, and the spring rolls were packed with herbs and super fresh. The flavors were vibrant, and you can really taste the care in the cooking.
A heads-up: this is a cash-only restaurant, but they do have an ATM inside. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and quality of the food. No wonder it’s always packed.
Despite the warm dining conditions and small table, the food made it worth it. We’ll definitely be back — hopefully with a better seat next time. Viet Taste continues to be one of the best spots for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the area.

We saw this restaurant while going shopping around the area, so we stopped by for a try. There are many choices for foods there. They also have many kinds of smoothies. The staff is friendly and foods of course is delicious. The only inconvenience is they only take cash, but there is ATM there. So you do not need to go to the bank for cash. Give it a try when you are around the area

This place takes the cake for value to quality ratio. Everything that these folks are doing is high quality. The pho broth is delicious and carefully crafted; the banh mi are made with crispy and fluffy bread and very fresh, crispy veggies. I only wish they had hand towels in the bathrooms.
Our go to spot for Pho! Great pho, good drinks, and cool employees.
Never really seen it slow and that's for good reason. Not too small as well. Good size.
