Hardware Sustainable Gastropub and Brewery

Hardware has a fun, interesting vibe. The food was superb! Great service and delicious food.

We all had the charcuterie board picked by the chef, and different dinners, they were excellent. The desserts were tasteful. This isn't our first time, we've been here before, and it's always nice.

Everything about Hardware is beautifully crafted, thoughtfully presented, and makes for an exceptional dining experience. The best thing I can say about the farm to table experience that they provide is that after a stunning meal including an absolutely delicious wagyu steak entree, the thing I want to come back for most is the salad; their greens are vibrant and flavorful in a way I've never experienced in a restaurant setting.

Chad is fantastic as a server. Great recommendations and clear explanations, always! The food never fails! Brought my brother and his wife to celebrate her bday and you guys made it extra special! They really enjoyed the tour of the gardens we took after dinner, too

We had a wonderful dinner at Hardware and look forward to returning. The food was delicious and we loved how environmentally conscious the entire restaurant is.

A great meal, as always. I find the atmosphere and the service like nothing else in the area. Everyone is so knowledgeable about the menu and how things are prepared. It is a special spot.

We had a lovely dinner out on the patio. Beautiful ambience. Waitress appeared to have too many tables though. Our service was slow and she was not very attentive. Food was delicious.

Loved the experience, the food was very enjoyable and fresh. I had the seafood stew and husband had the bison/brisket burger. We also enjoyed the bone marrow appetizer. Though I felt the stew could've been more flavorful, I was appreciative to taste the freshness of the seafood and veggies, which is the point, right? The burger was one of the best we've had! Bone marrow was an interesting experience, but not worth the price. The complementary champagne toast for our anniversary added a nice touch, wine pour was solid, and both the patio and inside decor was absolutely lovely. Whiskey selection is extensive. Our server was was just ok- everything she said was robotic and rehearsed. She wasn't warm or friendly at all. But the experience overall was nice and we would return!

Caught Hardware on a very nice, quiet Tuesday evening (06/17/2025). We had reserved a Standard table indoors because the forecast was for severe thundershowers after 4:00 PM. It was so nice outside at 6:00 PM when we got there, mostly sunny with some clouds and the heat and humidity had dropped from earlier in the afternoon, that we requested a table on their patio. What a laid-back dinner -- so pleasant! Our server, Kyle W, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. All of the other employees that we interacted with were very nice and very friendly as well. They have such a diverse and interesting menu. The decor, indoors and out, is exemplary and the back of the menu describes many of their interesting design choices. I am not a whiskey/bourbon person, so I did not partake in any of their hundreds of choices, but the beers they brew on site are terrific. The wonderful food quality and portion sizes (my wife took 1/2 of her dinner home) make their prices seem very reasonable, but it is not what we would call an inexpensive place to dine. We eat dinner out most of the time, so in comparison to other restaurants we frequent, we would probably rate Hardware's prices at 4/5. This is our second time there (Valentine's Day was our first) and we will gladly go back.

Love the herb gardens and greenery around the dining area. Our family loves this place, and the farm-to-table concept is perfect. Each time it was a great experience. Their risotto, Brussels sprouts, smashed potatoes, and house-made ravioli... these are great choices for a vegetarian like me!

We were not as impressed as we usually are with Hardware. Spent a lot of money, enjoyed sitting outside, but the food was not great.

Great concept and beautiful ambience. Food is good but portion sizes are small. They took really long to bring our appetizers and even longer for main dishes. Generally restaurants are much more courteous and friendly when they mess up...not a very pleasant experience.

Great dinner out with the college kids home for the summer. Great food & drink!!! Service was perfect also!!

We consistently have great service and delicious food at Hardware. The curry Mussels are one of our favorites and the salads are fresh and full of flavor.
