Terrible food and service.
Ladies restroom closed?
They had to use the mens which was molded and filthy.
Never again!

It was nice to be outside and the food was okay, cheap.

My daughter and I ordered a ribeye sandwich the bread was dry and old, the steak was dry without flavor, the waitress didn’t ask if we needed sauce or any condiments, she left on a hurry when we try to get her attention she was rude and ignored us, my daughter ordered tater tots she got her dry fries that tasted like they were left out sitting for long time, we waited for more than an hour to get our food, the waitress never check on us… food and service was horrible, we won’t be back at all, worse Mother’s Day dinner!

Quick stop here for a late-lunch after hiking at Starved Rock State Park. Found it on Google Maps after a search for local soups. We were greeted happily when we arrived and seated immediately in their restaurant section away from the bar. Our server recommended the Chicken and Dumpling soup and it was fantastic! Great dining and service experience here. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

Tip: A walk thru downtown Utica is pleasant after your meal. It’s a nice little downtown area. Very quaint.

The waitress is very rude and arrogant. She didn’t even consider to speak politely to me.
Racist behavior.

Stopped in for lunch after hiking Starved Rock, and doing a little sight seeing, this place was highly recommended by the local tourist shop. Was definitely not disappointed. Fast friendly service, excellent food, great prices.

Took over an hour to get our food, and the chicken sandwich was very dry. Prime rib had a good texture and good flavor but, seemed a little pricey for being a small bar.

I recommend dining outside, weather permitting. The inside leaves a lot to be desired. No frills dining is apparent from the cheap flatware to the plastic cups. But don't let the limited menu fool you. Best biscuits and gravy in the area. And their Texas French toast is great even served with artficial maple flavored corn syrup.
