“Loved this cute shop from the adorable puppy dog logo to the architecture and, of course, the yummy coffee and sweet treats! Knowledgeable and helpful staff helped me order my tiramisu latte to my liking, and the mint chocolate chip ice cream was the best I'd ever tasted. Plus a nice selection of pure cane sugar sodas. Will definitely come back if we visit Starved Rock again!”

“This place is fantastic.. such a cool eclectic place.. the atmosphere most defenitely biker ish. I can't wait until the weather gets warm and the place is alive and kicking. The out door area is huge and they have bands etc. They also do karaoke on Saturdays around 5.The staff is wonderful ..efficient and pleasant. Food was great.They have a a crazy selection of knives...swords..patches pins leather wear and very unique artwork..And ammo..bring your FOID card.”

“Love stoping I’m here for a wine sampling, we only get this way couple times a year but always stop here. Fun, Engaging and knowledgeable staff on the weekends, they really know how to get a feel for the customers and help find the best wine for them. I highly recommend giving them a shot, you will not regret it.”

“This brewery is likely the best kept secret in Starved Rock country. Beers range all over from lagers and hazy ipa's to stouts, hats, shirts, swag and more! The owners are off the charts with politeness and professionalism and the outdoor area is decorated and more than comfortable to enjoy the beer of your choice! I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. I'll definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: They have puzzles, games and sidewalk chalk for the kids to keep them entertained! So awesome!Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp goes right up to the front door from the street with ample room.”

“The place was clean, and the people actually listened to what you say on how you want your sub. Very appreciated! Nice and friendly. While not as fast as other subways, it was better service all around, and the food was actually layered out well. There was no sloppiness or throwing bits on haphazardly. “The burger, tenderloin, fries are all amazing!!!! Gonna have to come back to try more off the menu! Stopped in here after a day of hiking at Starved Rock and it was absolutely amazing! I got a burger and fries, my gf got a tenderloin. We cut both sandwiches in half and did what we call “splitskeys” so we could both try the burger and tenderloin. Fantastic. Both are massive, the burger was a single 3/4#! Great service, sat ourselves right away after walking in and waitress was there within a minute. Very reasonable prices, gonna try the jumbo wings next! Family friendly atmosphere, plenty of space inside and the tables aren’t jammed in too closely. I highly recommend Skoogs, you should try it, you won’t regret it!”

“Staff is all very friendly and the food is always good. Always fun to go after a hike at the local state park. The outdoor dining in the summer is always busy with a lively fun atmosphere. Definitely would recommend.”

“This is must when visiting Utica! The cupcakes are absolutely amazing! The cake itself is so moist and fluffy. There are so many options, but you have to go in earlier in the day otherwise everything is picked over. Their Blueberry cheesecake cupcakes is to die for! You really can't go wrong with any of the cupcakes she makes. Highly recommend and will continue to be a repeated customer!”

“Sidel was fantastic, it was a pleasure seeing a happy worker, son and I stopped going there about 6 months back due to the mess and disorganization. There are plenty of McDonald's options up and down 80, but thanks to the cleanliness, the friendliness and amazing service from Mr Sidel this is our favorite McDonald's again, especially since I noticed that it is a family-owned McDonald'sKid-friendliness: Mr Sidel deserves a raise! Very nice kid who was super with my 8yr old.”

“Adorable bakery with awesome coffee! This place had a nice steady flow of customers at 1 o'clock, most were buying the loaves of fresh bread. We just stopped for a coffee but I was truly tempted by the pastries as well. We had just eaten otherwise I would have grabbed one. Our cold brew coffee was really delicious and we are slightly picky about coffee. The caramel cold foam was a delight, glad we added it. Stop in and check this place out - it's really great!”

“First time here, we had a delicious lunch! The chicken taco soup was really good. Also tried the grilled ham and Nick which was good, although I love me a good old fashioned hot ham and cheese, the addition of grilled onions and flavored mayo wasn't my favorite. “What a pleasant surprise! From the outside it has the look of a dive bar. Inside it is recently decorated and extremely clean! Owners are super friendly and attentive. The food is standard bar fare but really good. I opted for the tenderloin sandwich and my better half opted for the build-your-own burger. We will definitely come back!”

“Best homemade pizza. We stopped by after hiking at Starved rock state park and reading all the positive reviews we decided to try this place. The joint takes you back to time, Sam is an amazing person to interact with and funny. He is really hardworking and super fast as well, we got our pizza within 20 mins. For $10 I was expecting the pizza to be average, but I was so wrong. I ended up eating more slices than I usually do. I would go back again. This is a must visit when you are in Oglesby.”
