A cute stop while in Utica. We're locals to the Starved Rock area, and we like to have a little ice cream treat after a long hike! They have a lot of little things and food items for sale.
Stopped here for sugar and caffeine after hiking. It was a pleasant surprise - large menu, lots of choices, even cortados, which many shops don't do. Got some kiddie scoops for the kids, a mocha for myself, and a flight of fall flavor coffees for my wife and I to share. My wife liked all the flavors - she'd worried they made ght be too sweet, but not the case - and I liked three, particularly caramel apple butter chai. Loved this cute shop from the adorable puppy dog logo to the architecture and, of course, the yummy coffee and sweet treats! Knowledgeable and helpful staff helped me order my tiramisu latte to my liking, and the mint chocolate chip ice cream was the best I'd ever tasted. Plus a nice selection of pure cane sugar sodas. Will definitely come back if we visit Starved Rock again!
