They were very nice to us even when our other guests were stuck on a late train. We were occupying the table longer than we should have. They did not rush us or treat us bad. They are very welcoming and we will keep coming back.
Nice vibe on a Saturday night, pretty busy. The restaurant is very nice looking inside. Our server was great, but very busy. The food was OK. We had several different things and some better than others. The tuna crispy rice was pretty good. The potstickers were also pretty good. The spicy deluxe funeral was very good, but the noodle dish we had was not something we would order again. It was thin noodles with vegetables and beef. The beef was very small and very dry/overcooked....
Overall food was really good. Some apps not worth it for portion size/taste. Sushi was good but a bit lackluster. For this vibe and place of "chicagos first sushi" i was expecting a bit more flavor/presentation but still tasty. Drinka were good but thw bottles of sake seemed way overpriced. Service was great too. A little disappointed that i had included that we were celebrating a birthday and our table candle wasn't lit and no treat or little dessert was offered...
