Had one of the best meals I've ever had- and I've been everywhere! Great service, the atmosphere was heavenly- sat on the patio. The food was delicious and eclectic- they have wonderful happy hour choices between 3-6pm- and $15 full meal specials.JUST WONDERFUL!!!!!

My boyfriend had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Lazy Dog (992 Willow Rd, Chicago). The server was completely unprofessional — forgetful, and did everything but take their requests, and clearly didn’t care about their job or the customers. To top it off, Kristine (their server) took upon herself to tip 65% and didn’t even bother to bring back his change after he paid. That’s beyond disrespectful and feels extremely dishonest.
It’s ridiculous to have servers take it upon themselves and automatically tip what they feel is right and not bring back the customers charge. That is what you call a thief and makes me wonder how many other servers do the same shit at this restaurant.
Management needs to take a good hard look at how this place is being run. I’ll be warning everyone I know to stay far away from this location!!!

We went to celebrate a family birthday and couldn't have enjoyed a meal more. Hospitality is clearly important at Lazy Dog. The staff greeted us and seated us promptly. Our server, Debbie, was nothing short of amazing! She had great suggestions, was welcoming and attentive, and made us want to make plans to return. The food was served piping hot, tasted delicious and was reasonably priced. I've been to two other Lazy Dog restaurants, and this one is clearly the best!

Food always good and family enjoys. However, service after trying many times is extremely slow and number of time needed ask front stand who our server was as not attentive to new seats. Loads of staff so not sure why the gaps on service other than they tend to hover in back. Management needs to train staff or work on effectiveness as seems staff spreed across many sections. We came here for dinner and we left extremely happy with the food and service, and the atmosphere is definitely confortable and clean. Being first time diners here, we were treated to a free app of house chips with different dipping sauces. The food here is quite tasty and full of variety. The meatloaf and burgers are quite tasty and the burger was fresh. Our server Steve was the best. Very kind and cheerful and full of recommendations off the menu. To our surprise, we were also given free dessert, such a surprise and treat! We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant location again.
