Pork belly is still good but service went downhill. New tall Korea waiter who can't speak English watches your grill like a hawk, waiting for every chance to turn it off. He constantly walks over to my grill, turns it off, and walks away without saying anything but for big parties he will make sure he ask nicely before turning off their grill. If this keeps happening, I will stop bringing friends and out of state guests here. There are plenty of kbbq opening up around the Glenview area.

Pork belly is just edible. However, the kimchi served as a side dish is not edible. This is my first time eating kimchi like that in my life. I spit it out after eating it, and I even thought that such kimchi should not be sold at the national level. If you put it out without knowing that it was like that, please dispose of it right now.

We were excited to try this place out but we were looking for parking for 15 minutes and had to give up. Location is in a small plaza and if you try to park on the next plaza over, the Mexican restaurant has someone outside yelling at you not to park there. Unfortunate.

I came out with a couple of friends to have good samgyubsal and overall just a fun night. Everything was good until we were heading out when one of the workers (maybe the manager?) asked why we tipped so little (we tipped 10%)? Keep in mind we’re college students, so this was our first time going out to eat in a while after saving what little money we had. In the moment we were kind of taken aback by such a sudden question we just responded with the truth that we were college students. But looking back I feel like it was very disrespectful and overstepping boundaries. I should not have to feel pressured to tip more than I am comfortable with especially considering my financial situation.

Nice place with simple menu. Most customers knew what they order, maybe are repeated customers. The side dishes were nice but less choices compare to other Korean BBQ place. Taste of food was good enough, and we have plenty to eat yet we ordered seconds. Price is on the heavy side. We will return there again soon.

If I could, I would rate this restaurant a 4.5. Quality of meats are great here. Brisket and pork belly was good. Their Kalbi is good, but not the best I've ever had. Kimchi is not fresh. It is very sour. I don't know if they give you old kimchi on purpose to grill it.Side dishes were great. They give a good variety.I'm surprised they give you a free side of lettuce. Most Korean bbq places charge extra for lettuce now. The food is good. No complaints. There are a few other kbbq restaurants in the Chicago area that have made my jaw drop. This one didn't. It is very close by to where I live, so I would only come back if I'm feeling lazy to drive to the other kbbq places I love. Customer service is great. It was very packed when I got there so it does seem like people do love it here. Again, not the best I've had. Just average!
Never have I encountered such a rude staff. Especially one guy staff member who was really desperate for tips. We already gave him a $30 tip but he still complained and even fought with my friend speaking in a loud sarcastic manner saying our tip is not 20% (it was 15%) if we are not happy with his services and why are we being so cheap. that is so embarrassing. My friend gave him the tip eventually just to make him stop talking. clearly he needs the money. Won't be recommending this place to anyone, unless they want to annoy the staff here, then go for it! :)

A popular spot for good reason. Service was great, and the atmosphere was good as well. Restaurant was full of Koreans (including myself) so it is a popular and good spot. Docked one star on food just because it is a tad overpriced, don't expect to get a cheap meal. That being said, the quality of the food is fantastic. Overall, a great spot.
