It's a small place but worth the trip I've been to many ramen shops in the city but this is by far the best one I've had, Their spicy chili oil was like no other, they had other items besides ramen. Me and my daughter will be coming here more often.

Nice restaurant. Generous helping of katsu pork. They try not to bother you while you eat. Food tasted great. I would have liked a little bit more of a thicker curry, but the flavors were great.

Amazing and flavorful ramen. Good portion size for price. Better than the ramen you could get in Chicago. My family from out of town requests food from here everytime they visit because it's that good.

I don’t care how good the food is the service was totally bad and rude. The lady shouldn’t work there because she looks like she didn’t want to work or might have some depression issue? She doesn’t smile and when we ask something we need she either rejected with ‘no’ or didn’t respond at all like total ignore. I noticed that it’s not just us but to other tables as well. Good luck

We have been coming here since it opened. Service has always been awful, but the food has historically been very good. Of late, the food has gotten worse (would recommend Chicago Ramen in Wheeling as an alternative) and the service has gotten even worse. We were the only table in the restaurant (four of us) and when we ordered food family style, we were told they only had enough for serving plates, not plates to eat from (not true, have been here many times and were given plates). When we asked for chili oil we were told no (historically, also very tasty!). The atmosphere is extremely tense because of the female owner who other reviewers will attest does not seem to like having customers. Sadly, it’s finally time to give up on this place.

I’ve never felt I need to leave a review for a restaurant but the way we were turned away made me want to leave one. I arrived with my family to try this restaurant for the first time but the lady greeted us by saying she doesn’t have any tables and told us to leave. She didn’t offer saying it’ll a certain amount of minutes until a table is available. She kept telling us to leave then proceeded to go to the kitchen.

Maybe I’m spoiled by the ramen places in the city, but I think the ramen is mediocre. The pork broth is not that rich and there’s no option to make it spicy. The service was slow during lunchtime.

The service might be the worst you would experience from any restaurant in your whole life.

This is my absolute favorite place on earth. I love their chasu ramen. The broth is so flavorful, the noodles are perfect, and there’s always an abundance of toppings. Idk why the hours recently changed but I will off myself if this place shuts down. Love yall <3

Food is good, service is horrible and owner is rude at best.I took my 3-year son in for lunch, my son said hi to the owner when get in (there is no one else in the store) and she didn’t even say hi back. When she served food, I asked politely if we can have a smaller fork/spoon, she said “No” and looked at me as I asked an outrageous question. If you have 3 high-chair to accommodate kids, I don’t see why you wouldn’t have smaller fork/spoon. Even if the restaurant does not, it’s not a big deal, you can just tell us NICELY. When we were eating, she didn’t even stop by once to check on us.Needless to say we won’t be coming back.Kid-friendliness: Rude owner towards a 3-year old

Not even 1 star. The owner just shooed us away without even offering to "come back another day" or "make a reservation" next time. We understand she is short staffed. We came in 615 pm on a Saturday night but the way she turned us away was very rude. We've always gone to this place for quick fix ramen. When we entered (we are a family of 5), she just said "No space" with her hands shooing us. I even waited for her to come back from the kitchen to see if she'll say "come back next time" or "sorry" But Nada. Rudest rudest ever. She should just close down if she can't talk nicer to her paying loyal customers. I never lambast anyone's business because I understand everywhere there is a staffing problem. But man, she is just the RUDEST

Ramen broth was ok, the pork was tough and dry, the egg was barely poached and disintegrated into the soup (not the typical hanjuku or ajitsuke tamago). I cannot speak for the other dishes but I cannot recommend the ramen.
