Ronin Sushi & Ramen is a small, cute, and cozy spot that has recently changed to a third owner. The current owner is super friendly, and the new owner has maintained the same or better quality as prior owners. Food portions are still very generous, and everything is fresh and tasty. The menu has changed, especially with some sushi offerings. The food is made fresh, though it takes a little while to come out. The ramen noodles were still stuck together, which is an area of opportunity. The flavors of the ramen and sushi exceed expectations. The chicken ramen, rib ramen, and chashu ramen are all delicious, with nice portions that can make two meals. The karaage rice bowl is great too. The sushi is very good quality, and the chill oil goes so well with it. The chef will even serve you, giving an omakase feeling. Lunch specials are a favorite. Takeout ramen is wonderfully packaged, with broth separate from other soup ingredients, and all utensils are included. Service is great and fast. This is a favorite ramen and sushi place in the North suburbs, highly recommended.
