We were seated when we came at our reservation time. The hostess was very nice. Our server was friendly, attentive and came back to check on us after we weee served our lunch. The restaurant was beautiful and the tables were very nicely set. A wonderful afternoon at NM cafe
An intimate, bright and quiet place for either a social or business lunch. Great diverse menu and excellent service. Love the popovers and broth that greet you once you are seated.
Food was good but a bit pricey. The temperature was very cold inside the restaurant . 6.00 for a cup of tea!
As a regular at this restaurant over many years this is the first time I walked away feeling “hustled”. Rhonda
The hospitality is wonderful and the menu always reliable. There are some daily or weekly specials, but also classic dishes, refined but not fussy. Popovers with consommé to start are warm and light. There's a salad with warm shrimp, a sprightly spinach salad, salmon--the three of us enjoyed these dishes; not a wide selection of desserts but enough choices to satisfy us. A good wine list, too. Friendly service, nicely timed.
Always a classic. Have been coming here since I was a little kid. I am a popover addict!

Terrible service. I don't know why the waitress always serves me. She has a terrible temper, but today she made us wait more than 30 minutes, so we decided to leave. I hope they talk to her so she can be more friendly.

The food is good but nothing special. The highlights were the tiny cup of broth and the popover which was good but a little undercooked inside. The waitress was a bit unfriendly at first but then came over to talk to our table and stayed way too long.
The restaurant is very pricey and our waiter really was rushing us. The place was practically empty so I don't know what his hurry was. The popovers which is a huge draw or stale and it was very disappointing.
This is a great classic and local place! This is the place that if you know you know. I've been coming since I was a little girl. It's part of our ancestry story. Definitely a ladies lunch NM Cafe can make any day feel special.

It's a lovely place for lunch. It's very open and bright. Pleasant atmosphere with a fine menu and many good choices. U can hv a choice of wine, beer and of course soda. The servers are professional. U start with a chicken broth started and marvelous popovers with strawberry butter. My husband had a hamburger. I had a chicken dish. My friends has a delicious salad. We were all pleased. I would say it is a little pricey but what isn't these days? Try it yourself.
Perfect spot for a girlfriend birthday celebration. Sparkling brut and a salad plus lots of laughs! Our server was excellent and brought a surprise birthday cookie. Loved our window table and the time together.
A great experience with friends or even just yourself ALWAYS! It's been one of my favorites for years and I've never had a less than five star visit. If you're in the area please stop by and have a spectacular time! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!!!!

Awesome food! AWESOME EVERYTHING! My husband and I had date afternoon... we enjoyed the food, our service.
There should be a no cell phone rule at the table. A very loud man had an escalated voice and another table sharing videos with volume was very disturbing. Salad cam out in 5 minutes (obviously premade) and very cold.
